Listen... there's places all around the city that are great but this place has something else. Michelle and Allen are probably the kindest, most interesting people I've met since moving to Victoria. I will drive out of my way just to pop in and have a delicious mocha with Allen just to chat with someone who is absolutely genuine. It's always better when Michelle pops out to also say hi. There's plenty of other places but few have the soul that this place has. Go here if you want to walk out with a smile on your face.

It was our first time visiting and very pleased wiith everything...from food to service. They have great breakfast sandwich and yummy Benny bowl. The drinks were one of the most unique and one of the best we have tried. We also picked a good time as it was not yet crazy busy. They food were carefully crafted with so much love and it translated to every wonderful enjoyable bite. We will definitely come back.

This is a delightful, friendly little refuge for good coffee and empty-plate lunch items. My turkey-basil grilled sammie on rye was delicious. You can cool off with a beer if you like. All is served out on the covered deck with a TV, a high chair for tots, and local sparrows hopping about for your crumbs.

I highly recommend this small, cozy, homey place. The staff/owners are so friendly and the cook/chef, a wonderfully friendly woman came out a few times and chatted.
I came for the German meal tonight and it was fantastic. The red cabbage was like my mom used to make and the schnitzel was pounded into perfection! Topped off with an awesome Black Forest … all deeeelicious.
