We have gone to milestones many times we were in Langford and decided to order a steak...2 others did the same...at $40 a plate you would expect to get a steak that was ok...the one I got had to be one of the worst I have had in a very long time..plus it was medium when I ordered medium rare.. I am guessing steak is maybe something one should not order at milestones?

Soggy Fish Tacos, inattentive service. Tacos arrived and the crispy fish was soggy. I would have sent them back but we didn’t see a server for twenty minutes and by the we just paid and left.

Good food, service is incredibly slow. It may not be the wait staff's issue, but for some reason they operate at 1/2 the speed of most other restaurants.

Our server Sebastian was such a sweetheart, but our meals were pretty MEH. It was an 830pm dinner and we were famished so chowed down anyway. It was very expensive and we did not feel like the overall value was there. My burger was dry AF, my daughters lettuce wraps were also dry, and extremely spicy, and my husband's pasta was lacking flavor and had very little chicken in it...like 4 pieces lol

We had a large party meal here. Very nice evening. Great food, no one had any complaints about food. I had 1/2 rack of ribs and a grilled chicken breast. The ribs were excellent, and the chicken was even better. We had our own room. The service was spectacular. Great evening, good food. Great atmosphere.

Food is like warm at best. Portion sizes are significantly reduced - not good value. Service was good. Unfortunately this is not “inflation reduction” this is just plain greed and being stingy from a corporate company. Too bad because Milestones was always well known for the portion sizes and great value.

Really blown away by the friendliess of the staff. Our hosts, and waitress Alison were very kind and accomodating. We had such a great experience there, and the food was super delicious as well. Will be sure to come back again.

With tomorrow being my birthday and my mom wanting to take me and my son out for dinner. Me being a chef is very picky with everything being so expensive it's almost worth buying good food and cooking for us. I wanted someone to cook me a good steak. So it was Mr Mike's or Milestone. After looking over the menus and reviews of both restaurants I choice Milestones the coconut calamari and steak sandwich looked delicious and had good reviews. We ordered the calamari as appetizer Then the 3 of us ordered dinner as we still were waiting for our appetizer our dinner came, unfortunately the server forgot to ring it in and said I'll put the order in if you still want it and we will cover it. Absolutely it was 1 of the reasons why we were there. All our meals were amazing they didn't charge me for the calamari or my 2nd glass of wine and after we paid our bill the manager came and asked if we wanted a couple desserts to take home on them. Going out to eat has become so expensive but I felt we were treated with exceptional professionalism the service food and atmosphere was extremely exceptional. I'll be back Milestones at Millstream village

We arrived around 8pm on a Saturday night with 7 people and no reservation. When we approached the restaurant we could see that it was approx 50% full. When we approached the front desk, they told us it would be at least an hour wait. I said but there's plenty of tables available. Then they asked us to wait while they went and checked. Came back and said yes it's going to be at least an hour wait. I was like what? There's a table right there that would fit us all and pointed, can't we sit there? And she said "no, you need to leave and come back in an hour". Her tone was quite rude. I asked again why would they turn us away when there's plenty of seats for us. Finally one of the other girls said they didn't have enough kitchen staff to accommodate us. I wish they would have explained that in the beginning, we've never been turned away at a restaurant before when they had the seats available. There was no need for the staff to speak so flippantly to us. We will never go back to be spoken to like that again when there's so many other options. It's unfortunate that they can't maintain the staff required to fill the restaurant. We drove over to Boston Pizza and they could seat us right away.

Ordered Avocado Toast which was Terrible! I was so tired after flying home and didn't bother to explain but the Avocado was almost completely missing in my Avocado Toast and the food on my plate was a mess of eggs and way too much fake hollandaise sauce. Restaurant was almost empty - on Family Day! (red flag?) - Service was great but both I and my husband, who didn't like his Classic breakfast much more than I did my meal, have decided to give Milestones a miss in future. $55 for a bad meal!!

Didn't have a great experiance. Food was cold and they didn't have a lot of the menu available. Waitress tried to make it better we ended up just leaving. Price point is way to high for what they are offering. I think this location was great years ago but it's since gone downhill. I want to like it but they sure make it hard.

We enjoy Milestones and frequent it often. Our server was very nice and didn't miss a beat. We dined early as we wanted to catch the Canucks game at home. We both ordered the Surf 'n' Turf. This was the second time we have had this and I am sad to say we won't be ordering it again. Both times the scallops were very small and few and far between. The bernaise sauce was very watery both times and lacking flavour. It just sat on our plates like a watery puddle. We only ordered this meal a second time because we thought the first time it may have been a one off but that's the way it is served. The steaks, however, were tender and cooked to perfection. We will still continue to dine here but we will not be ordering the Surf 'n' Turf again as we prefer a proper bernaise sauce with more substance.
