We tried their guilin marinated rice noodle. It was pretty good! I’ve never tried rice noodle in the form though. My friend ordered the dan dan noodle, but it came out a different dish!😅 not sure if there was some sort of miscommunication, but we were sure we ordered dan dan. So we were a bit confused why the order came out different. There’s free wifi here! And the server was very friendly too.

The food was good and the service was excellent, but the noodle dish that I got had too many noodles that were very thick and made up 90% of the dish, and and not many vegetables and a moderately small amount of meat,
The dish came with spring onions and little bowl I got was only about 2 teaspoons full, so I asked for more, but Got another small amount again

The food tasted good, the soup’s flavour was not too light nor too heavy. The waiter was very kind and kept on checking on us, and he was fluent in both Chinese and English. Great experience!

Absolutely delicious! Spicy, nutty, and comforting all in one bowl. Seriously, somehow the bowl contains so much flavor.

Nice casual and cozy place to grab some food. It was my first time having guilin style food in North America and this did replicate some of the flavours of the food I had in guilin. The broth was a bit too salty for my preference, but apart from that service was friendly, and the atmosphere was nice 😊

The Guilin rice noodle in this restaurant are very excellent. It can be said that I had a good Chinese restaurant in Victoria. The Rice noodles are smooth and tender, and the soup bottom is delicious. If you go there for the first time, remember to pour the soup into the noodles by yourself, and be careful not to spill it!!!
I also tried their Taiwanese chicken popcorn, which has a crispy crust and a delicious taste that is worth recommending

We both ordered the A2 (Guilin Hot & Sour Rice Noodle). Lived up to its 3 chili pepper rating with the spice lingering on the palette. The broth had nice flavour but if you're just eating the noodles, you just get more of the spice. The noodles themselves had good texture and chewiness. Didn't come with much meat, and the pieces we did have were quite dry. I liked the pickled veg/nuts sides that you can add right to the noodles. They provided a water pitcher for our table, which was helpful for the spicy food.

After dropping off the food, however, no staff came to check on us or ask how the food was - it wasn't a full restaurant at the time either. When we were finished, the bill was dropped off and we paid at the counter.
