Moon Under Water Brewpub and Distillery

I've come here twice, and both times have not disappointed. They always have a new seasonal drink to try, that's only shown when you visit in person, and they host the Cinco de Mayo celebration menu. The food was quite tasty and filling. The ciders here are very rich, and happy hour is all days on weekends which is great! I recommend visiting Moon Under Water brewpub!

I booked the distillery room for a private event. We had an absolute blast, Anna was very helpful on the phone with booking. I was able to come early and set up the space, and we had the best service ever from amazing staff Ollie and Emilee! They were friendly, accommodating, helpful and very speedy, even with 30 people all ordering food and drinks. Everyone had an awesome time, the food was great and such a cool experience to have shaft flights on the menu. Very affordable, and beautiful distillery room to hang out with all friends and they even helped us with setting up some karaoke!

What a gem of a spot! The attentive staff are all wonderful and provide quick and friendly service. The food and drinks are always delicious and reasonably priced. And a great live music venue to boot.

Both times that I have been here the food and service has been excellent.

The fish and chips is delicious. The halibut had a nicely flavoured coating that isn’t too thick or overpowering like one sometimes finds at many places that have fish and chips on the menu.

What a great little craft brewery. The bartender was so kind and attentive. He was lovely to deal with! Amazing deep friend pickles and great flights.

Server hated us? Mature adult table of 16 folks ordering dinner and beer (would have been more than 1 beer if she ever offered another round) in an empty dining room; perhaps I am old fashioned to assume a server would be happy to have a large group to make some gratuities. The food was great, the beer list was fun and interesting, but the scowls and snippy attitude and negative energy really outweighed that. Topped off by being ignored towards the end of the meal. I wish that I wanted to come back!

Moon makes the most amazing whiskies. We had the chance to taste some of the single malt whiskey and the 3-sheets whiskey stood out. Definitely highly recommend Moon distillery. The hosts were super friendly!

Great beer! Great food! Excellent service!

Great beer selection, and tasty food. I loved their seasonal (I guess) smoked beer, and I hope they bring it back in the future. Their stouts are very smooth and perfect for winter. The risotto was delicious! The only thing I missed was a coleslaw salad with my fish and chips :)

Went here a few times with friends and food and service were great. Today (Tuesday evening 7:45pm Jan 14) I was ignored for 10 min and the girl bartender with glasses served people who arrived after me first and gave me attitude. I seated myself on a dirty table. It’s so sad that society enforces tipping. I begrudgingly left a tip. I’m going to recommend my friends and myself to not come back. The guy who was waiting was at least pretty kind. All-in-all a pretty disappointing service no thanks to the female blond bartender with glasses.

Magical shaft flights!!

Our friendly, quirky server made our visit worthwhile. Nice beer (had a session stout) and the food was okay (fish tacos and Thai salad). If I come back, I'll probably just get a burger. It was surprisingly quiet in there for a Saturday night.

We are fairly frequent visitors during the summer months. A few years back we were able to tour the new distillery room being setup and talk with the owners/operators about their plans for distilled spirits, and of course we took the opportunity to try out some of the current brews. Used to have great potato skins, and there is always at least one funky beer on tap that needs to be checked out. Super friendly and attentive staff and a nice patio area.
