We arrived before our scheduled appointment and were seated promptly. But we didn't have any server assigned to our table for a long time (maybe 10-12 mins). But once assigned, we had wonderful service. Food was excellent - beetroot salad, lemon basil salmon, shrimp Thai laksa and churro icecream sandwich. A must visit and highly recommended restaurant.

Moxies always accommodates our group and ensures a lovely dining service. We were in with nearly 20 friends and were able to enjoy a great visit, meal - with time to make our next venue. Thank you again!

Service was good, however, we were not checked in with our open table reservation. We had our engagement photos taken earlier in the day and noted that there was a special occasion for our booking, but this was ignored, possibly because the hostess did not see our open table reservation just sat us. The food was flavorful, but extremely salty... to the point where we had to take it to go.  We asked for no cilantro on the blackened mahi-mahi, but this was ignored. Service was quick and everyone was tentative.   However, at the end of our meal, the server forgot to bring us water which hit a little differently, given the extremely salty food.  We were hoping for a better experience as it felt like staff we're going to the motions. Step and repeats with each customer. It was later in the evening, but that is not an excuse to not have a great experience. 

Movies is always a great place to eat. Great menue and friendly staff. It also has a vey nice atmosphere.

Great menu, quality food, super decor and ambiance. Hailey and the rest of the wait staff was friendly and looked after our needs the entire time! A one-of-a-kind experience in Victoria.

We had the Asian Salad and the Cobb Salad with salmon and both were excellent. Moxies is one of our go-to places for consistently great food and service.

The ambiance and warm, inviting décor created an exceptional setting for a memorable evening. The service was exceptional, with our server, Sig, being attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. We extend our sincere gratitude to Sig and the kitchen crew for an unforgettable night. After a demanding week, it was a pleasure to savour a delectable meal and spend quality time with my loved ones. From the bar, Madri Exceptional lager was a standout, instantly transporting me back to my time in Barcelona, and Nancy's glass of Kim Crawford, from New Zealand, was delightful. We particularly enjoyed several traditional dishes, which were prepared to perfection. We commenced the evening with a platter of dry ribs seasoned with salt and pepper, garnished with a splash of fresh lemon. My grandson, Leo, and I engaged in a friendly competition for the final piece. I have a fondness for French Dip, as it reminds me of my late nights at Scorpion Restaurant, where I would enjoy a leftover prime rib on a French baguette dipped in au jus after a memorable evening of service. Moxies's French Dip exceeded my expectations. If you, like me, dislike ketchup, I recommend ordering garlic mayo for your fries to ensure a delightful experience. Nancy's cheeseburger was everything you could hope for in an exceptional burger bursting with flavour. We were impressed by Leo's ability to complete a double protein serving of grilled chicken accompanied by a bed of white rice. This healthy option provided a satisfying choice for a young boy. We highly recommend Moxies Vic to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience in downtown Victoria, British Columbia.

The service was great, the food was presented well and quite excellent, Had Salmon with vegetables and wild rice. Excellent meal. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Came here for my birthday and had a large party, and though some couldn't make it last minute the restaurant was super relaxed about last minute change. Food was hot, delicious, and prepped well. The restaurant staff were very polite, accommodating, and kind. Our waitress was lovely and she provided awesome service. Thanks for the good experience!

The seating request I made on the reservation was delivered. Madison, our server, was knowledgeable, engaging and professional. The food was delicious, nicely prepared and presented well. Enjoyed every bite. Overall we had a great date night.

Steak was over cooked, hair in our food and very loud and hot. Server got a new plate made and a discount.

We had a great time and a lot of that had to do with our server, Ziggy (sp). The food was great as it always has been anytime we go there. The service was excellent. We plan on going back again soon. I can't say enough about our server - he really knows how to make your dining experience top notch and pays attention to every detail.

There was six of us, and we had reserved for 5 o'clock. We were in and out within an hour. We felt rushed, and the service was more focussed on getting us in and out rather than the experience. My food was over seasoned and others meals were mediocre. I don't think we'll be returning.

We had a wonderful dinner at the Moxies on Yates. The vibe was great and the staff were happy to see us and excited to be there ( at least that is what felt). Great food and drink. We will be back. Food was exactly as pictured on menu in my case and everyone enjoyed the food and drink. Paid Parking was found nearby on the street , so that was great as I was not sure if that would be an issue. Not expensive I thought, and just used the City of Victoria parking app.
