Excellent coffee. Line was long but moved quickly. Loved the Canadiano.
It still amazes me that a company like Murchies does not have food for people with egg and dairy allergies. There are so many good recipes available but Murchies chooses to ignore these customers.
I had a really loved and flavorful iced citrus tea! Was better than I expected! Would return!
Unbelievably mid. Pastries look better then they taste, tea tastes overly steeped. They have mice lol
The tea was really nice, but unfortunately I had to leave because there were so many mice running around.
It was very disappointing, and even more so that the owner didn’t seem to do anything about it.
You can call a pest control service to get rid of the problem instead of ignoring it!
Totally awesome experience!
Bad choice of cakes
Definitely not worth a repeat. We ordered three pots of tea, no teaspoons, no sugar, tea bags two in each pot, much too strong for tiny tea pot, no hot water. I expected a cup and saucer not a coffee mug. I expected the full English tea experience. It was extremely disappointing.
My family always stop by this establishment whenever we are in town. Lovevthf airy /open space dine in atmosphere. The pastries have great texture and flavor and not too buttery /greasy.
Absolutely wonderful!
Tea is delicious and worth the stop.

Very relaxing tea room with a variety of loose leaf tea options from around the world - sold by the gram/lb and they also have tea bag’s and other tea accessories for sale! I tried their Murchie’s Rocher and it was so refreshing! My brothers enjoyed the Earl Grey lavender tea. I can’t wait to try their Maple Chai and other oolong teas I bought. Highly recommend stopping by for tea! 🫖
We’ve regularly purchased cakes from here for family birthdays and have always enjoyed the taste. However, this time was disappointing. The cake was overly sweet, with uneven layers of cake and cream. The creme portion was thicker than usual, and the cake, which should be soft, was moist , and strawberries were spoiled. (Seems not fresh) Quality control was doubtful.
This one lacked their usual uniqueness. I won’t be buying this cake again—it feels like it was made by a trainee.
Great visit as always, appreciated Hazel's support with my questions. Sure wish though that the Chamomile was available in a box of 100!
Overpriced and dismal service.
Be sure to visit this charming spot in the heart of downtown! The cafe offers quick service, even if you see a line. There’s a wide selection of coffee, tea, desserts, sandwiches (very tasty!), and salads. It’s a favorite spot for Victoria locals. The tables and decor are cozy, with plenty of space.
