Went in looking for espresso, couldn’t exactly find it so I asked where the espresso would be, then the worker proceeded to tell me WHAT I was looking for and completely failed to tell me WHERE the product would be. All I could spot was filter grind, so I asked if that was what she was talking about, she then told me that it could work but what I was looking for was a fine grind, and continued to stand in silence as I was still trying to find what I was looking for. When somebody asks where to find something, you would think they would direct you to what you’re looking for.

Bad service. I wait 15 minutes for my latte. When I realized that the 3 people that ordered after me where getting their drinks before me I approached to the barista and asked her if my latte was in the way and she lied that it was , she was actuality making the other people after me . The almond latte did not tasted good at all . I believe there is lack of management and organization in this location.

A very fine tea (coffee and cake) business right in the centre of Victoria. A local institution to partake of a drink and fine pastries. Not good for the waistline but you only live once!!!

This place has the appearance of a high end coffee shop with high end prices. We met out of province friends there this afternoon and as we sat at a table in the back room beside the shop, we had the company of a rodent cleaning up crumbs on the carpet beside us. Photo attached. Another customer said the mouse was named Bruno. One of our friends went to staff to complain and was rudely told, "That's what you get being so close to the harbour." What an attitude!! Guess where we won't be taking friends to in future!

this place is a Victoria staple.we had breakfast here. Loved the selection of baked goods and pastries. Our only complaint is when you ask to heat something up you actually do that.

This is a must go-to spot to buy tea and tea amenities. Great flavors. The tea shop also has yummy teas, pastries and sandwiches/lite fare.

Three of us had tea which was wonderful. I had Carmel rooibos which was perfect for fall. It was so good I picked some up in their store to take home. One of us had hot chocolate which was equally delicious. We each also had a treat of some kind and were all equally happy with our choices. Especially for a tea lover the gift shop was right up my alley. Next time I’m in Victoria I will be back.

Mixed emotions here...I'd rate the store itself a solid 5. For my fellow tea lovers, this place is like a toy store for kids - huge selections of tea and accessories; store is beautifully decorated and maintained; etc.; etc.As to service, I'd rate it 2. The lady at the front desk (might be the manager, but not sure) is less than helpful, quite curt and aloof, as if I was troubling her by simply asking a question. After my visit, I looked up the reviews and saw similar feedback. Sad, as it's really a great place otherwise.I didn't try the coffee bar due to this unpleasant experience, but will do so during my next visit. Hopefully, they will learn to be more friendly and helpful to customers.
Niche little shop with little nick-nacks and such.The tea and coffee are nice, just wish they made the raspberry temptation the same as downtown, where is the chocolate?

A popular cafe. Despite having to queue, the service was quick, and we received our coffee without delay. The cafe has a wonderful cabinet of great looking cakes and pastries. Well worth a visit for your morning coffee or tea.

So good!! Chocolate mousse cake is a must!! My kids loved it as well! We can’t wait to visit again next year. Late lunchtime has smaller crowds.

As usual,,,, this is one of the best bakeries n the city! Their pastries and cakes not only look great, but they are all delicious. Expect a line out the door when you get there but it moves quickly.
