Went for the first time today. They will full, so I got takeout instead. It was ready very quick (~5 mins). I got a 2 piece halibut meal. The fish was some of the best I have ever had. The fries and coleslaw were good. The tartar sauce was quiet good, and was a good amount by for the amount of fish. Highly recommended checking it out. Be prepared that it may be busy.
I've been looking for a place like this since I moved to the island. 10/10 fish and chips. Your search ends here. The coating is thin and crispy, the fish doesn't slide out in a slimy mess when you eat it, the fries aren't soggy, the coleslaw is actually really good, and the tartar is home made.
We went for supper last night. My wife had the senior’s cod and chips, I had the calamari dinner and we shared an order of onion rings. Seating is quite crowded. Food was good and the onion rings were great. It was a large order and they were made there using the fish batter.
