Pleasant atmosphere, very friendly service. I’ve started coming here once in a while during my breaks and I am always met with exceptional service and my drinks are always great, as are the pumpkin scones :)

This Scandinavian coffee shop is a refreshing change from the usual coffee scene. It’s a simple, calm space where the focus is on quality and care — every cup is brewed with attention, and the staff are happy to share what makes each coffee unique. It wasn’t what I expected, but it turned out to be one of the best coffee experiences I’ve had. Definitely worth a visit if you’re curious to try something different.

The matcha is just straight sugar ! When we asked to get a new one with no sugar she just said no. Terrible coffee and even worse service. (Keep in mind we asked for it to be unsweetened with just a pump of vanilla) which we ask for at every place, and it seems your cafe was the only one with major confusion about that.
I have been to many of cafés in Victoria and all around the globe, and it is by far the worst experience I’ve had so far. From the moment we walked in I felt it was a very hostile environment. After we got the drink which was not made even nearly what we asked for, the lady working was acting as if she just wanted us to leave and never come back. I appreciate her giving us that vibe as it reminds me to never come back to this cafe again… And to know the owner is just as petty makes me feel perfect about my decision. I’m happy you couldn’t agree more. Cheers to bad coffee and bad service 😄

Stumbled across this place on a walk when my usual coffee shop was closed! I got a pumpkin pie dirty chai and a pumpkin scone. The scone was very tasty and I enjoyed the dirty chai — I realized a little too late that most of the flavouring / sweetness was at the bottom and not mixed in, so my initial opinion was that it was very bitter and then I was hit with almost too much sweetness! A good to know for next time. The person serving me was great and the atmosphere of the place was nice! Very minimalist and open / bright. I personally prefer a slightly more cosy space, but the free wifi and the natural lighting along with the quietness of the place all made it lovely to sit down in for a few hours. I can see myself coming back sometime!

I needed a mocha while on my walk. This cafe offered what I needed. A dark chocolate mocha latte. It offered a chill vibe, bright and cheerful atmosphere. Art on the walls for sale. People working quietly. It was a nice discovery on my walk today

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this coffee shop. We came in due to good reviews online but I can only assume these were due to different baristas, because our experience was abysmal. We came in to an empty coffee shop (always a red flag) and the lady behind the counter was quite rude. Both she and the barista seemed to be having a really bad day and were both very grumpy with super sour looks on their faces- both seemed annoyed that we’d walked in and disturbed their social media browsing. Anyways, the coffee was appalling-it was over-extracted, and the milk was burnt and frothed into a pile. This is NOT what we expect from gourmet coffee shops with such high prices- nearly $16 for 2 trash coffees??? I was really upset by this. As we left, neither barista even looked up from their phone. We went straight down the road to Saint Cecilia and would recommend everyone else do exactly the same thing- actual good coffee for a cheaper price. Give this “Nor. Coffee” a definite miss.
