So sad I haven’t tried this place sooner, amazing flavour, portions and service! Can’t recommend them enough- shocked to see that not every rating for them is a 5 star, I can’t imagine why it wouldn’t be!
This is probably my new favorite spot after eating there one time lol! The venue is kind of funny, tucked into the YMCA. But I've been looking for this kind of fair for years now, ever since trying senegalese food in Philadelphia and falling in love. These folks cook Nigerian food, and it's delicious and uses a lot of the same spices, apparently. Great value, I had the chicken lunch box with jollof rice and plantains, it was extraordinarily delicious. Big fan.
The food here is absolutely phenomenal! We tired the featured jollof lunch box with chicken and plantain and it was such an amazing meal. The flavours were just so delicious and well balanced, the plantain was a nice sweetness to complement the spice of the dish. I will definitely be back to have this again, and try other dishes!
