Had an awesome birthday dinner at Nubo Kitchen & Bar. My two besties and I sat at the bar and the bartender took such good care of us – so friendly and attentive. The food was amazing, the drinks were on point, and the whole vibe was just great. Definitely coming back! Thank you!! :)

The food was absolutely amazing! Unique flavours that just dissolve in your mouth. Staff was incredibly friendly and super accommodating! I’ve found my new favourite spot, living by it forever. Couldn’t ask for more. <3

Solid sushi and Japanese restaurant. One of our favorites in Victoria. Lots of different sushi, nigiri and sashimi options, we have eaten here at least 10 times and have never had a bad roll. I personally don’t eat seafood and I find the non seafood/sushi options to be great. Highlights are Yaki Udon, fried chili gyozas, sashimi platter and k-town chicken.

Such a good location with windows everywhere. The service was great and there is so much food to try and all of it looks amazing. My only complaint is I can't eat the whole menu in one sitting.

The fish was incredibly fresh, and my absolute favorites were the salmon oshi sushi and the Fisherman’s Roll. Also my friends enjoyed Katsu don and Unagi don those are fantastic.
The service was outstanding — our server made the entire experience truly memorable with their warm and attentive hospitality. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I visit Victoria!

An unforgettable dining experience at Nubo on Pandora Street! From the moment I walked in, the service was impeccable. The staff were not only attentive but also added a personal touch that elevated the whole evening. I asked for a drink recommendation and was pleasantly surprised with a lychee-infused creation—hands down, the best drink I’ve ever had! The smoking hot salmon sushi rolls and dynamite rolls were absolute perfection, bursting with flavor. If you’re in Victoria and crave sushi, Nubo is the place to be!

This is one of my favorite places for dinner with a big group of people because they take reservations, can accommodate a big group, and the food still comes out in a good pace despite many dishes being fired up. I adore their agedashi tofu, it's different than anywhere else I've tried. At lunch there is a great assortment of "sets" - get the Sashimi & Sushi set! The soft shell crab and k-chilli chicken are yummy. Great for a group who wants to share a bunch of dishes.

food was great and we enjoyed our meal. however, wasn’t impressed with our server. when ordering our bentos, I ordered the vegetarian and asked to get the vegetarian okazu which never seems to be a problem anywhere I go. the server then responded “but you eat fish?” I then explained how I don’t eat any seafood, and she huffed and said that the chefs wouldn’t accommodate because I’m at a sushi restaurant. I understand this is unusual, however my partner loves seafood and I would still like to be able to join him for lunch. after me pretty much begging her to go ask the chef she came back and rudely told me they would make an exception.
