Best Salmon Benne and Cod Fish N Chips. Could not have been more pleased with our brunch visit. The food was exactly what we were craving and the size of fish was plentiful. A single piece of fish may be enough for some but a double is definitely worth the extra cost.

Was looking forward to a local business but Not impressed, expensive compared to other fish and chip restaurants. Very small portions. The chips were soft and not crunchy. The grilled fish was tiny and cold. The popcorn shrimp was barely cooked and way too salty. Was supposed to be a memorable family dinner, definitely not trying again.

Great shop that I have frequented many times. But you got to get rid of that nasty rude man working in restaurant part tonite. Gray hair older. ......unfortunately he gets zero for customers service. Very very rude

Highly recommend. Super tasty, fresh food & friendly staff! The salmon belly bites, fish and chips as well as the chowder are fantastic

Meal very mediocre some fish chewy not freshOrder was 120$+ without any tarter sauce for the fish and chips which should be standard. The small coslaw not worth price it is the size of ketchup container. Not to mention I had to reach out to skip the dish delivery because MISSING the order if fish, poorly packaged, half the fries not in container in the bag and requested gluten free bun less salmon burger and that was not what they gave me. One piece of the fish was smaller than filet o fish at McDonald's size. So very disappointing meal 2hrs later didn't bother take photo

Oak Bay Seafood has excellent fish and chips. They understand take-out and how to let the fish rest before boxing it up. Well done.

A favourite spot for burgers or chowder. It's not a restaurant- more of a takeout place. They have a few tables. There is zero atmosphere. My only complaint about eating in is that I wish they would wipe down tables. They're greasy and unappetizing.

In the past we have always appreciated good value for the salmon burger as it had a good sized piece of salmon. Last night there was way more bun than salmon. Also, the side of slaw was $3.50 for approximately 2tablespoons. Shrinkflation!!

I've lived in several places on Vancouver Island over the past 20 years and I've been here in Oak Bay for six years. I have tried fish and chips everywhere including in a private club. Tonight I experienced the best fish and chips dinner at the Oak Bay Seafood. The food there has always been great, but tonight was the best and worthy of special praise. Good work staff.

One of the best places to enjoy GLUTEN FREE everything! The menu has so many great options to cater to gluten free needs without compromising on flavour and texture. We thoroughly enjoyed the variety of food and feasted on some delicious crab as well.In addition to great menu items, there’s also a wonderful selection of pantry foods and house made products you can purchase (soups, pickles and frozen seafood items). The only downside is they close at 7pm, so you need to plan for lunch or an earlier dinner. There are limited tables and the ambience isn’t anything fancy.Overall, great value and amazing seafood options. Friendly staff and great food! Worth a stop if you are in Oak Bay.
