Food is ok, service is slow. We were there on a busy evening and they had only 2 waitresses working. We waited a while to be seated because the young hostess didn’t seem to be on the ball. The place itself is modest. The prices were ok though, below Victoria’s average.

Very nice location, food is pretty basic, they have a coffee machine so you can treat yourself gazing at the ocean. Interior is pretty rough so something more cozy would be better)

Great atmosphere and location, but service and food were pretty disappointing, not a lot of care put into food for the amount you’re paying for a brunch

their breakfast bowl was amazing and I had a breakfast sandwich that become my favorite :). Thanks for the good service and delicious food.
Employees should advise which alcoholic beverages are included in Happy Hour before ordering! Nachos we ordered must have been cooked the night before and were only put under the warming lamp cheese was baked hard onto the paper liner and ground beef was petrified!
Didn't stay but they allowed use of their restroom. Much appreciated!
A good selection on tap, great lunch and dinner menu. Breakfast options including good selection of to go items (baked goods and coffee) before heading for a walk down the breakwater.

With these times of Coved and all .....out door is now the in thing ...and this Cafe gets five stars all the way for providing that ...We dinned there this evening ....great weather ..super tasty Nachos.... and severed by a five star waitress by the name of Vanessa....
The good: great menu filled with foraged & locally farmed products. Several decent and creative cocktails on the menu. Most of the courses were great. The server was friendly enough. The music selection was good. The not so good: The place was almost empty and the music was really loud. I commented about the loud music (we'd have to yell at each other to hear), but it wasn't turned down. My main, the nettle fetuccini, had a 'urinal cake'-type flavour I just couldn't get past. (I hope it was just some weird spice and not...) If the music gets turned down I think more people into local/organic/foraged would go there. Its menu made me think the place should be packed, but overall it just didn't quite get there, in terms of awesomeness. With a few tweaks, it could.
Our server was very polite. We enjoyed the margarita flatbread, mushroom soup, lobster salad roll as veggie lasagna which was the best I've had in a restaurant. The location can't be beat!
Food was fantastic; between the table we tried a number of sandwiches. The salmon burger was the hands down winner. The capers were the star of the plate. Beer selection is small, but we tried 3 of the 6 and they were all delish. Only downside was that they seemed understaffed. Service was super friendly but very slow.
If you want to enjoy a dinner at a not so touristy location, with great food and cool people, that's the spot.
