This place is a true gem and if you haven't tried it yet your missing out on some amazing food as well as shockingly large portion size. The customer service here is next level.
Big plate of great food. Was shocked and excited when two chicken thighs were piled into the box. Chicken was cooked well with a nice mild bbq flavour. Fried rice was on point and seasoned well. Mac salad was simple yet flavourful as was the poke of the day.

I’m a regular at this location; the quality of the poke is incredible. All the staff have been great; a month or two ago one of the young guys with brown hair gave me a few samples and I have been ordering my poke bowl with some of the ingredients he suggested almost every week. Love love love everything. Can’t say enough good things.

One of my go-to places when visiting HillsidMallll. I love the Uptown one, and when Ono Poke opened in Hillside, I was so happy! Their food is mostly consistent. I found some tuna poke was extra fishy sometimes, but Ono tuna poke tastes less fishy and fresher most of the time in my opinion. I tried grilled plate a couple of times as well, and I found it was a bit fresher at lunchtime compared to dinner. Hulihuli chicken is always good, and the ribs are tender. Karaage was a bit chewy this time. Their Dole Whip is good too (tastes a little different from the Dole Whip in Oahu, but still good).
Exceptional customer service! The staff was very patient and explained each ingredient with care; I will certainly be returning here. The food was equally delicious and the dining experience was top notch! I definitely recommend you give this place a shot!

Ono Poke seriously makes the best Poke Bowl in Victoria. I would highly recommend adding the macaroni as a side- a little bit unconventional but so unexpectedly good! The small size is a great value, I feel like even though its a "small" you get a huge portion for only $14.

The best food option at Hillside Mall, and one of the best Poke places I've experienced. Generous portions at a very reasonable price, very fresh ingredients, huge selection. The server was very helpful (and patient) while I assembled my combo plate. With 2 protein portions (crispy chicken wings and marinated pulled pork), a brown rice base, and one side, PLUS a tuna poke serving the price was only $20 (only $17 with one protein choice, which would probably be enough for most people). My one criticism is that only farmed salmon is offered as a poke choice, but with the variety of other options I can't say that I missed anything.
