Recently visited from Alberta and all I can say Great food ! One of the most quaint restaurants in the city. Well worth the time to check this place out, you wont be disappointed. Not to mention, one of the most well put together Mediterranean gardens in the city. Really sets the tone for that authentic Italian experience when walking up the steps.
Dude. The cheeses and meats. ALL the cheeses and meats. The spreads as well. Good place to stop for a cuppa too!
Do not attempt to eat dessert elsewhere or leave the counter with just one delicacy. Expect to have to return more than once, if you do so.
Chocolate Orange Mousse. Raspberry Tart. Biscotti. Biscuits. And on it goes .. oh so good.

It used to get a 5 star rating ftom me , BUT, now I give it a one as the size and portions of baked goods is rediculouly small.
This place lives up to its legendary reputation. The cafe is great but don't overlook the grocery section too. The frozen case sells their made from scratch tortellini and tomato sauces. The bolognese is phenomenal!

Stopped here for lunch during our bike ride around Victoria and it was amazing. The sandwich I had was delicious and we really enjoyed the gelato. Would like to go back again soon.

Visited Ottavios for the first time with my family they came for a few days from Boston. They loved it, especially the gelato and fresh baked goods. They have gluten-free options, which is great as some members of my family have gluten allergies.
The best Italian deli around, but also the best cafe around too! The brioche are incredible, the cheese and meat selection is superb and the gelato is fresh and delicious! I love grabbing everything I need for a charcuterie board here and always get compliments :)
Loved the atmosphere and all the wonderful foods and items for sale. Very friendly and helpful staff; especially the young lady at the register. She was above and beyond helpful and friendly.
