I visited Peckish Cafe for the first time last Wednesday after my appointment at Moss Rock Clinic. I’ve always noticed the café on my way out—the cute décor and inviting charm constantly caught my eye—so I finally decided to stop in.
The moment I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised by how adorable the place truly is. They have a lovely outdoor seating area with shaded benches that create a calm, cozy atmosphere. Despite arriving close to closing time, the staff were incredibly warm and friendly. I was greeted right away, and the person taking my order made me feel genuinely welcome.
I ordered a mocha, and it was excellent—smooth, rich, and surprisingly good for a quick late-day stop. I wish I had more time to explore and take pictures of the café’s cute interior, but my Uber arrived sooner than expected.
Overall, Peckish Cafe left a wonderful first impression. Great coffee, friendly staff, and a charming atmosphere—I’ll definitely be returning.

Cute little café! The staff is super friendly, and you walk down so it doesn’t feel too close to the street. A cute little spot to enjoy some time.

Really lovely patio atmosphere and cute decor with a peacock theme. Can I mention as a baker, the silpats as placemats, cute! Had a Bengal fog (warm, cozy, spiced, and my questions about it were answered kindly) and carrot cake. Beautiful piping and moist cake. Great neighbourhood stop.

Out for a long walk from my village into Fairfield. I’ve been here a few times but it’s been a while. I had to pay them a visit. Greeted by cheerful staff and given great service from them both. Decided on a different route so I had a berry smoothie and a Nanaimo Bar. It was a great place to hang out and get some work done.

Peckish Cafe is somewhat hidden but once you find it you (and me) will go back again.Very friendly staff and a good selection of treats and baked food. The prices are decent with very good quality ingredients. You can also park across the street.
A very wholesome hole in the wall spot. Lovely outdoor seating and some inside that is a little more squishy.
The breakfast brioche bun could have been warmed up slightly longer. But it tasted great, and the chocolate/banana muffin was perfectly moist.
Very friendly service.
Delicious coffee and desserts, I recommend trying them, and the pastries taste great! Also we bought cakes for a holiday. Very tasty, I recommend it!🤗

Cute cozy and such a homey welcoming atmosphere.
This place has more characters than you'll be able to handle in such a great way.
I ordered the Cortado coffee and a piping hot conversation with the locals.
Fantastic little stop for treats and drinks!✨
Service was phenomenal- such warm accommodating staff. Very toddler friendly with our little one roaming about. Big portions and they even brought us beautiful complimentary yogurt granola cups to begin

Great environment, lots of options, and quality coffee. Great flat white (their small is quite large - for a flat white😂).
