Perro Negro is a hidden gem in Victoria, celebrated for its delicious 7-course menu and tapas-style foods like bacon-wrapped dates, ensalada verde, and grilled squid. The atmosphere is casual fine dining, perfect for small groups, with friendly service and a great wine selection. The food consistently impresses, featuring popular items such as chorizo puffs, patatas bravas, albondigas, and fried smelts. Guests have noted the lovely and intimate setting, making it an excellent choice for special occasions like wedding receptions. The attentive staff, including standout servers like Kayla, enhance the dining experience. While it may not be the most authentic Spanish tapas, the food and flavor options are truly glorious. It's worth mentioning that improvements could be made, such as better utensils with oysters and dimming the lights for ambiance. Although not wheelchair accessible and with a somewhat hidden entrance, Perro Negro remains a must-visit restaurant in the city.
