Excellent Food and good service - would return. Every dish is superb. Try the seafood Caesar's also. A bit surprised that they were short on some food items (meatballs were out), with the reason being it was the holiday season and they were preparing for large groups. Maybe just order more!

Food was very mediocre and portions were small even for tapas style. Extremely bright and awkward seating and uncomfortable atmosphere. They were out of lots of the items on the menu.

Amazing, the food and flavour options were glorious. Kayla our server aka ā€œJennifer Garnerā€ was amazing. What a treat of a restaurant to have in your city. Thank you for being here.

Really enjoyed the whole experience. Kayla our server was excellent and all waitstaff very attentive to all Customers. Food is very good and would definitely go back and recommend to others. You must like Spanish tapas. Order one at a time or as many as you like. The spacing of the orders are well done. Thank you Perro Negro for a great dinner!

Nice food and service. A couple things worth improving like utensils with the oysters served and perhaps dimming the lights for a more ambient feel, but overall a great experience.

All the tapas we ordered to share were delicious. The cocktails were great and they had a big list of mocktails to choose from too.

Perro Negro is a lovely and intimate atmosphere for hosting a wedding reception in the city. I had the honour of photographing a wedding there this summer, and the space is beautiful, the staff incredibly helpful and friendly, and the food far surpassed my expectations! What a gem!

What a lovely experience we had at Perro Negro. We arrived a fair amount early for our dinner reservation and the hostess happily seated us early to enjoy the Happy Hour offerings. Our waitress was knowledgeable and attentive. The cozy, brick-walled, upstairs room adds to the rustic ambience. All of the tapas we tasted were fresh and delicious. Our favorite was the Prawns and Chorizo in a delicious chili oil sauce, which was complemented by a glass of Spanish Albarino wine. We finished the meal with a warm orange and almond cake with a delicious yogurt drizzle and pistachio crumbles.

We recently hosted a celebration of our marriage with friends and family at Perro Negro. From our first meeting with Kevin, the whole experience was positive and easy. The flexibility and options as we worked through the number of guests, the food and drink options, and the sundry details was very much appreciated.
The day of the event, we were able to get in to decorate and prepare. The event went so smoothly thanks to the great team and the cool exposed brick vibe. A special shout out to Sophie as the calm and engaging bartender and Kayla whose bright personality and attentiveness were without compare. Both Sophie and Kayla were so much appreciated that we felt they added greatly to the tone and success to the event. We highly recommend Perro Negro as a place to host your special occasion…
