A great hidden gem in Victoria there 7 course menu was too die for. Service was outstanding and definitely worth going again. The vibe and atmosphere feels casual fine dining and definitely worth a visit if you are in Victoria. One con it's maybe hard to find a way in but its through Ferris upstairs and the server will take you through a restaurant to your seat inside.

FYI. Reservations are unavailable, and waits can be long.Went there at 550pm on a Friday and was told the wait was an hour. Got put on the waiting list, and checked in at 710pm to see if our table was ready. Was told by the host that we had to wait longer, and that of we didn’t like it we were welcome to eat somewhere else. Our table came up at 730pm. 1hr 40mins (for a one hour estimated wait) is a bit long for my taste.

Excellent wine list, food mediocre at best. Service poor. Servers doing their best. Excuse upon excuse upon excuse. surprised restaurant is still open. Went for dine around. arrived at 6:00 pm, no reservations gave our number to be alerted for a table. 60 minutes later alerted, arrived were told that we had to sit at the bar (we were given this option at 6:00pm) told that we could order the Tapas menu at the bar. Sat down and couple beside us had waited 1.5 hours. When ordering we were then told that we couldn’t order tapas. 1 1/2 hours later are seated in the supposedly full Pedro Negro to find several empty tables. I like tapas but many better places in Victoria.

Enjoyed the tapas style foods and some delicious menu items like bacon wrapped dates, ensalada verde, estofado de carne (short ribs), and grilled squid. They handled GF for a Celiac person very well. Friendly, welcoming service and atmosphere.
Good food, great wine. As a Spanish person, not the most authentic tapas but definitely some of the better stuff you can get here. It’s hard to import ingredients, so overall it was really good. Our server was friendly. Great spot for little groupsWheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible. Up a narrow flight of stairs

Love this little hidden place. The food is consistently delicious and the service is great.
We celebrated my husband's birthday at Perro Negro. It is a cool tapa bar located upstairs in Ferris Oyster Bar. The decor is charming and creates a cozy atmosphere. The service was great, with attentive and friendly staff! We tried the gambas without chorizo, papas bravas, broccolini with the romesco sauce, and the roasted carrots. Each dish was flavourful and cooked to perfection. The gambas were a personal favourite. If you're a fan of tapas and small plates, do yourself a favour and visit Perro Negro! You won't be disappointed.
10 out of 5 if possible. We asked our sever to pick 2 tapas for us, and the bacon wrapped dates are soooo good. Make life worth living again kinda good.

Really enjoyed the tapas experience. It is wonderful having so many different types of food. All the dishes were really delicious and very different. The service was very good and the atmosphere was interesting. The one thing that they need to do is get more comfortable chairs. I will be back to try try some more dishes.
Couldn't love Perro Negro more! We enjoyed our daughters Birthday dinner here on St. Patrick's day and will definitely be back! Our favorite thing on the menu was the Atun Crudo! I will crave it until the next time. My daughters favorite was the Burrata! Everything was equally amazing and the service was out of this World. Thank you for offering such a lovely experience!!!
