Phillips Brewing & Malting Beer Shop

Was one of my favorite breweries for a few years already, and now I live in town...haha more Phillips for me, please!

Good tasting beer. Atmosphere ok, but not anything noteworthy. Prices not bad at all, $5.75 for a beer , 3.5€

Philips is a staple in Victoria Society. Locally owned and loved by the community. So many different kinds of beer to choose from makes for some hard decisions. Great flavor's of soda for the non beer drinkers. I like the shop is it is clean and does not smell of stale beer like some other brewery growler stations do. I give Phillips and Eleven out of Ten.

Very good and nice place to go with friends and family

Good selection of beers here, plus a decent appetizer menu. We got a flight, and my personal favourites were the Solaris summer ale and blackberry sour ale. It's usually a very lively place, with music and waiters moving about. It's connected right to the gift shop and you can see the factory in the process of producing their famous drinks just beside the bar!
They also honor the BC Ale trail rewards app, and I was happy leaving with a pint glass as a souvenir. Phillips Brewing is one of the popular breweries here, and for good reasons too. Do stop by here if you're looking for good drinks, and a good time.

Great Taproom with a very good option of beer types. And if you are a sour lover, they have you covered with their Dinosour group of beers. A friendly welcoming place with a pretzel worth the long walk it took me to get there. Highly recommend this brewery

Found these guys on our way from Australia, very good beer all round. Great spot with a cruisy atmosphere ? Eff off all you 1 star anti vaxxers??

I’m originally from the States but spent a good amount of time on Vancouver Island before moving to the Vancouver area. During my time on the island, I had the opportunity to visit Philips Brewing when their tasting room was first opened. Recently, I tried Philips Tilt 20% more from BC liquor stores here in Vancouver. Despite the many breweries in the Vancouver area, Philips remains at the top of my list.

The best microbrewery in Victoria! Flights are served with a custom printed recommended order of tasting. I really enjoyed both my beer and gin flight. I’m so sad they don’t distribute to the US. My favorite was the spruce tip Kolsch. Don’t miss the pretzel with beer cheese sauce for a snack!
