I love the Pho Tru at Blanshard & Fort but the Mayfair mall leaves much to be desired.
Front counter staff are amazing and absolutely no complaints there but the Lemongrass Steak Bánh Mì (Saigon Sub) was sub par compared to the other location. Not as many ingredients or sauce (dry bread as a result) and only 1 strip of beef compared to a loaded sub at the other location.
I do believe that the Mayfair location has cheaper prices ($11.25) than the other store but I'd happily pay a couple dollars more for a better sub.
To end on a good note, the Chả giò (Kim's Crispy Rolls) with sauce on the side are amazing here and at the other store and I highly recommend you add them to your meal.

I got the vermicelli salad bowl. It was mostly lettuce and sprouts with a 1/4 of the bowl noodles and a half a piece of chicken thigh. You get about $1 worth of food for $20.
Had lunch before heading back to Nanaimo after cruising the mall. This place is excellent. I had a tofu sub and it was possibly the best Banh Mi I have ever had. It was on the perfect bun, nice and crispy and all the ingredients were delicious. The sub was better than Viet Sub in Vancouver and that is where I always go when there. My daughter had the tofu salad rolls. They were huge, filling and yummy, the peanut sauce was excellent. My wife had a chicken bowl and she loved it, she said the picked carrots were excellent. Three meals for $35, good price and good food. Will be back.

Best Vietnamese I’ve had in all of Victoria. The subs are phenomenal. Every other ones I’ve had was dry. I dream about the vermicelli bowls every day. Thanks you.

Didn't like the fact I wanted to change item and had to "build my own bowl" which cost $1 more. Surprisingly good portion of beef balls and tendons. I did like the noodles were cooked al dante. However that soup...... was bland. Too pricey for overall portion.

Food for two: $60ish (including two side dishes and tip)
Positive: same options as sit in restaurant. Food was hot. Came out fast. Price is in the $ range. Don't like rice or pho, they have french bread subs (think subway style food). Pho we had was beef type.
Neg: Meat amount in pho is on the small side.
Food for thought: they have kids size pho. They can give you hot sauce, chili sauce and sweet sauce if asked.
