Complete rip off. There were 6 pieces of meat the size of a nickel in the large size for $18.

For a food court I have to say I was very happy with my meal. I had a rice vermicelli bowl with shrimp. There were plenty of shrimp and I was stuffed when dine. Flavor was good, and food looked and tasted fresh.

Pho is a (Vietnamese) soupy noodle dish with beef/chicken broth. Highly nutritional and delicious. Pho-tru serves Pho in many varieties and is conveniently located inside the Mayfair Shopping Centre.

Affordable menu, decent portions, fresh ingredients. Friendly serviceAtmosphere, it's a food court so loud and noisey and busy to be expected.

=== 1. VERDICT/VALUE It's Vietnamese food in a food court, done fast and it's Pho Tru - one of the many chain outlets in the food court (the other location is their sit-down restaurant downtown).=== 2. FOOD #13L: Large Pho with Beef Meatballs ($15.50):The meatballs and noodles were just fine. The soup felt a little bit oily and it may or may not have MSG (I was thirsty, but if it does, it's on me: I did choose a fast-food joint!). Overall, it was good.I do wonder if I got the large though, as I would hate to see what the regular size one was like given how hungry I was (see my photo comparing it to a standard takeout spoon).=== 3. SERVICE For a food court, it was courteous and fine - nothing more, nothing less. === 4. ENVIRONMENT It's the Mayfair Centre food court - so it's a little new-ish looking and on this night, there was plenty of seating available. Wheelchairs and baby stroller fits just fine; you just need to find a parking spot in the decent-sized parking lot for the mall outside - which is hit or miss it seems if wanting a spot close to the entrance :)

I had the steak sub, on a crunchy baguette, no. 58 I believe. Price $9.98. Filling & satisfying. Try it & conclude your opinion.

Only went in for a pickup, but amazing and prompt service was observed. Kudos!

After finding 2 pieces of tendon in my soup I went back to the counter to buy extra but they wouldn't sell me any. There is an extra meat item on their menu but they refused to let my buy it. When ordering a large bowl of soup I expect to have more than 2 pieces of tendon. This is a poor way to do business. I won't be going to Pho True Simply Vietnamese restaurant in the Mayfair Shopping Centre again.

Foodcourt food, it's decent if it's what you like to eat.

The Bahn mi is better than anything else in the food court imo. Honestly, one of the better viet- subs in the city. I've only ever eaten the lemongrass pork sub, so can't comment on anything else.

Not bad at all for a food court pho place, went with low expectation but was surprised.
