Q AT THE FAIRMONT EMPRESS

One of the best dinner experiences our family has ever had, that too in our home country of Canada. We have travelled a lot, and know good quality service. Thank you to the Fairmont Empress team, especially Mudit and Adam.

We very much enjoyed the 5 course new years dinner at the Q. The beef wellington was out of this world.

Service was slow, we had child ordered spaghetti, normally children get first but it came almost last.

Delicious food. Waiter, Andrew, was able to explain it all (as usual). ALWAYS ask for him. Top-notch waiter.

A wonderful dining experience. Our service was absolutely amazing, thanks to Andrew. As a Sommelier, he provided excellent wine suggestions and pairings for our meal. The ambiance, the service and food all perfect. Well done 👍👏

The Q offers a terrific place to celebrate something special or enjoy a special night out! The food and service were both fantastic.

We treated our son to the Empress for sinner for his 25th. In most ways, it was what we hope for -gorgeous building with history behind it. However, it was over-priced we felt. Food was very good but the price was very high. It was a bit noisy for conversation but otherwise very comfortable.

Kind of disappointing. 3/4 entrees were not hot. Lobster was overcooked and not properly deveined. I definitely expected something better. On a different note, we are staying at the hotel and breakfast this morning was fantastic.

Thanksgiving dinner was delicious! Brussel sprouts also excellent. Pumpkin dessert only so so.

We absolutely loved our dinner at Q. The ambiance was lovely and the food/drinks were fantastic. We look forward to coming back on our next trip to Victoria!

We got the pork tomahawk. One of the best pork dishes we've ever had! There was an amazing smokiness and the asparagus was cooked perfectly. Our server Marisol was great and we also enjoyed talking with one of the managers. They sent us off with a fantastic cherry dessert for my husband's birthday.

I had the mushroom risotto and added the scallops. Wow, what a wonderfully tasty entree. And William provided impeccable service.

We were visiting Victoria for a day and decided to stop in for some light food, we’re not disappointed.
Our wait staff Mr. Bradley M, was so polite and welcoming. He was constantly checking on us to make sure we were taken good care of.
The 3 of us decided to have Truffle soup, we have tried it at other places, but nothing came closer to the one at Q Bar, it was scrumptious ! Shared the Buffalo Chicken Flatbread that was so delicious.
Will definitely come back to stay and eat again at Q Bar.

Andrew was a wonderful server. It was my daughter's graduation celebration and he even brought her a Congratulations dessert plate.
