Not the Q right now, just the lounge after the Tea service is done for the day. Beautiful and classy. The food is great, the drinks outstanding and the staff and service is even better. Sat and watched the sunset with some drinks and oysters. Excellent music playing. Happy Valentine's. Just the right place and time.

We had dessert at this lovely hotel and our server Andrea was amazing, beautiful hotel and restaurant and phenomenal food, all while enjoying a part of Canada's history ♥️

One of the best dinner experiences our family has ever had, that too in our home country of Canada. We have travelled a lot, and know good quality service. Thank you to the Fairmont Empress team, especially Mudit and Adam.

We very much enjoyed the 5 course new years dinner at the Q. The beef wellington was out of this world.

Cute little bar with wonderful vibes of the bay. Oysters, burger and Ceasar salad. The setting and food was amazing.

Service was slow, we had child ordered spaghetti, normally children get first but it came almost last.

The hotel lounge bar is one of the most beautiful lounge spaces in Victoria. Beautiful woodwork, towering ceilings, live music sometimes, and a view of the harbour. The food and drinks don’t do it justice though. My go to first drink at any bar is an Old Fashioned. I think a lot can be said about an establishments old fashioned. No cherries, too much ice, and I’d have to say a premade orange simple syrup. Food gets a similar review. Last time I was in I had the beef dip. I would not order again. The beef was dry, the au jus was watered down, and overall not exciting. Service is fairly good but like the service in the restaurant, not 5 star in my opinio

The Q offers a terrific place to celebrate something special or enjoy a special night out! The food and service were both fantastic.

My love and I enjoyed high tea at the Empress. Raymond took exceptional care of us during our visit. He kindly suggested two teas and answered our questions regarding the broad offering of teas. As a tea sommelier, his input was much appreciated. The culinary offerings were delicious. We greatly enjoyed our afternoon tea and left VERY satisfied. Thank you Raymond for a wonderful afternoon.

We treated our son to the Empress for sinner for his 25th. In most ways, it was what we hope for -gorgeous building with history behind it. However, it was over-priced we felt. Food was very good but the price was very high. It was a bit noisy for conversation but otherwise very comfortable.

Kind of disappointing. 3/4 entrees were not hot. Lobster was overcooked and not properly deveined. I definitely expected something better. On a different note, we are staying at the hotel and breakfast this morning was fantastic.
