Never ate here just reading the responses from the owner are nuts. Lots of high end restaurants give patrons free items on their birthdays. Ugly Duckling gave us free champagne and a dessert. There owner is kind and respectful. Savuer your predecessor did it all the time. Literally cost you nothing to give a free dessert. The margins on alcohol are absurd.
In your responses be less defensive and listen to what people say. They are paying there hard earned money. If your restaurant is hurting that bad maybe you should get an account to go over your books.

Wow! I love going out to eat. I own a restaurant biz and tend to notice all the details. Rabbit Rabbit blew me away, this is one of the best dining experiences I have had in a long time. The food, the ambiance, the vibe, the details, the dinner and glass ware, the lighting, the service, the food, did I mention the food. I recommend this place to everyone.

We tried rabbit rabbit tonight for the first time. Didn’t catch our servers name but she was spectacular. Food descriptions were on point, and helped us with some wine choices.
We had the grilled romaine, olives, shiitake mushroom, milk buns, salmon, dumplings and the new Big Mac tar tar.
The four of us have a hard time agreeing on the best dish which is an awesome compliment! The food was spectacular and exceeded expectations for the whole table. The service was also second to none and complimented the beautiful restaurant atmosphere. I loved the whole decor and artwork. Thank you to the staff for all the help, we had a lot of question and you answered all of them. We will absolutely return. Keep up the good work !
Really exciting food here in Victoria. A definite not to miss! I arrived at 435 (first one there) and was told there were only a few options for me... bar or lounge and I only had one hour. I left at 600 and tons of open tables. The hostess who became my server, was condescending and aloof - which completely destroyed the excitement I had on arriving. It did not improve with me giving her feedback. Now I would say to her, hold eye contact. Be present. Shutting your eyelids and holding them there suggests you don't want to be a part of conversation - even when you are the one speaking. Pork, pickled mustard green dumplings with sake creme...YUM. Grilled romaine miso almonds was exciting and new. Shrimp toast and cucumber salad (the pickled baby lotus was a huge hit). All in all, I was very pleased with the food. The fellow who came to take my payment - tall guy reddish hair was very good - strong conversation and eye contact. He picked up my impression of the staff. They are going to be very very busy. And with some staff coaching could become an institution in Victoria. $90 for one person and worth it.

Our Anniversary dinner at Rabbit Rabbit last night was absolutely unforgettable! Every dish was a beautifully crafted umami flavour bomb, layered with so much thought and creativity that each bite felt like pure magic. We were doing happy food dances the whole way through.
Chef Billy clearly knows his flavours. The dumplings especially will have me umami dreaming for a long time. Everything we tried was incredible, and the “Mad Tea Party” cocktail was the perfect start to the evening.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but this place was fabulous and deserves more attention. It’s shared plates, but the portions were not too small. The romaine was a surprise favourite. We were too full for dessert, which was a shame! We’ll be going back to try more.

Unfortunately the food was either too salty or too acidic. The duck was too raw, and you cannot see it because it so dark in there (see the photo).
