This place is absolutely a must try! We only had 4 hours in Victoria BC and we chose this place and so glad we did. The fish and chips portion is huge. I ordered the 2 piece and needed help finishing the second piece. The fish was super fresh and flavorful and the batter is crunchy and thick. The clam chowder is not your typical white new England style, it had Thai flavors with coconut milk and a slight curry spice. It was incredible and maybe some of the best I've ever had, and I live in the PNW where I can get really good clam chowder at most restaurants on the coast. If you like to try new things I would highly suggest getting the chowder here.
My partner got the cod dog and as a chef he said it was the best fish sandwich he's ever had - soft and fresh housemade bun and deliciously fried tempura cod fish with flavorful sauce and crunchy coleslaw. Everything is delicious, even the fries and tartar (which is more on the ranchier side). This is a quick service place where you order first. The line was about 10-15 minutes and moves fast; you get your food in about the same time. It's right on the water with a beautiful view. Seating is limited but there's plenty of space to stand and eat and the chairs open up quickly too. You won't regret waiting or the prices if you love seafood and especially good fish and chips. Be kind to the people serving you!

I now know why this place is so highly recommended. It did not let us down. Stopped with the family for lunch, the line was not too bad that day from what I had heard. My kids are not big fans of fish and chips and when they finished their shared portion, they were asking for more! This is by far one of the best priced, fresh, delicious fish and chips I’ve had. We had both the Halibut and the Cod, as well as the jerked fish cone which was surprisingly really good as well if you like jerk spiced food.

Hype is real for the halibut fish and chips. Best ever. Got there before opening and got in line. Took maybe 20 minutes and it was definitely worth it.

Worth the wait and the sunset view is a big +. The grilled options are fantastic! Pair it with a chowder and the local drinks and you have a great dinner. Will be back.

This place makes proper old-school fish and chips. We had halibut and chips, Large portion of beautiful tender fish with a really nice batter. Chips were solid too. This place exemplifies what fish and chips should be and the environment was amazing on the pier. A rare little gem- I was super happy with everything.

Seafood chowder was good but had a kick. The fish was just ok. Too much batter. Location was great. Right on the water.

Beautifully fried fish, crispy chips and seats beside the water, if you want any better, you're looking for a chippie somewhere in London or Glasgow but I reckon you'll prefer this spot.

Just for the crispiness and the freshness of the fish served. Efficient service. Excellent fish and chips (halibut or cod). Rugby on the harbour.

There are a lot of people, but not enough tables and chairs to eat properly. There is no restroom in the restaurant
