I came in last night and was astounded with the high quality of service that I received. Having been a traveller for the better part of my 20´s and 30´s aswell, I have seen a lot of different establishments but none quite brought to life by the quality of work such as that of Sarah. Sarah tended to my every need with an air of confidence and brought my evening to life with her passion and wit. My evening at refuge was one that I won’t be forgetting soon. I’d highly reccomend this place to anyone!

this review is long overdue but my partner and i came here for new years last year and we had a blast! the servers and owner are so friendly, we decided to stay here for the countdown on a whim and it was so cozy. love the atmosphere, definitely recommend!

Used to be a five star place to grab craft beer. Went again tonight and had terrible service for the second time. The two people working seemed like they wanted to be anywhere else. Cool atmosphere and good beer but not worth going for anything else.

A small taproom with a good vibe. They offer a decent variety of beers to try. I do wish the flight included 4 or 5 samples instead of just 3, though. Keep in mind, they’re not a brewery themselves, but most of the beers are from BC, so you still get a nice range of local flavors

My partner and I were visiting Victoria (first time for me), and I have heard about the amazing beer scene on the island.
This place probably had the best craft beer I had ever tried. It was so good that we had to visit twice. My (and my partner's) favourite was definitely Howl Brewing's Blackberry Grand Fir Ale. I can only hope to have it again.
The service was amazing and the patio seating was super cozy.
