Local here. The food and service are really good. And the prices are ridiculous for the portions and quality you get. Really good value. One of the best local hand food places. The fact this place only has 4.1 is shocking. Especially, in comparison to other higher rated places. Don't let pass up a lunch drop in at this place.

The chef was so warm and lovely, our breakfast sandwich was delicious- egg beautifully cooked. The meal really helped rally our spirits for the busy day ahead. Good portion, very reasonable price.

We recently hosted a private event at Roast. We were incredibly happy with the food, the atmosphere and the staff. I would highly recommend them for any function or just simply for lunch (we do that a lot too) great place! Awesome food! Wonderful owner and staff!

We had roast Cater our Thanksgiving dinner for 20 people and WOW! We were all so impressed. The food was incredible, and very reasonably priced, with large portions. We look forward to hiring them for other events in the near future!

We ordered our Thanksgiving dinner from Roast and it was amazing!! Plenty of left overs and the turkey was super moist. I would recommend Roast highly and I think we will get our Christmas Turkey from them as well!!

We ordered our Thanksgiving dinner recently and everything was beautifully prepared and delicious, just like home cooked. My 86 year old mom joined us and she's cooked a number of turkeys in her life and she agreed it was one of the best. Thank for making such a memorable meal for our family to enjoy together ❤️

We love Roast - we eat here multiple times a week! The staff are awesome; the food is always fresh and flavourful; the meats are cooked to perfection; and they have a variety of options from bowls, to wraps, roast meat sandwiches, and superfood salads (all made fresh in front of you)! Roast is my number one lunch spot in downtown Victoria! Their roast meats are cooked to perfection, and everything on the menu is so fresh and healthy. I highly recommend trying one of their bowls, wraps, or superfood salad - honestly it’s all so good! Highly recommend stopping by for a bite!

Food is very delicious and portions are perfect. I had both roasts this time but have eaten multiple other items in the past and have always enjoyed my meal. The food is excellent.

He is genuinely invested in your experience while in his care and will always guide you towards the best curated meal possible, no matter what options are available. This man needs his own restaurant but until then my family and my friends are all honoured to be able to experience Dino’s hospitality, skills and grace anytime at Roast.

We popped into the Public Market in Victoria to look around and found Roast. The menu looked interesting so we gave it a shot- we were blown away by the quality and quantity of the food. The staff were amazing and Dino, the chef, is a wonderful guy who chatted with us. If you’re in Victoria near the public market, you have to try Roast.

the bowl of Roast beef with the side of roasted potato and ceasar salad was so yummy and I ate the whole thing, even though it was quite heavy for one person and was tender and went well with the sauce and vegetables. Perfectly cooked and the flavor was amazing.”
