I just wanted to say that the vegetarian tourtierre is EXTREMELY clove-y to the point that it was overwhelming to me & I enjoy cloves. So if you don’t like cloves this is not the pie for you!:)

Bought the veggie pot pie as I have previously. If this was not the worst meal I have had the displeasure to eat, it was close to it. No pastry on the side, no pastry on the bottom. Just some vegetables floating around in some sort of liquid with a pastry top. Disgusting!!!

I'll have to join the choir of people apparently making "the crust" one of the most mentioned things in the reviews - I was craving a savoury meat pie and just got one. I was initially surprised by more of it being crust than I expected, but then thought, "wait a minute; this crust is amazing..."
After eating more of the filling, I decided that the crust thickness was in fact just right - this was the best beef pie I have ever eaten, and if any more of it had been the incredibly flavour-rich filling, I'm not sure I could have finished it in one sitting.
I'm torn between wishing they would do discounted prices just before closing time, and knowing that I might well eat myself out of my current wardrobe if they did.

The pumpkin pies were a huge hit at our Thanksgiving dinner. Everyone was raving about the quality and flavor. Great service and great pies. Many thanks to the entire team at Saltchuckpies for the great experience.
