I had the pleasure of meeting both the owners and being treated like VIPs. Even though we weren't sure if we were going to stay as my friend wasn't sure about the menu. They welcomed me to sit down and relax until my friend arrived. The margaritas were great and so was the food I would definitely recommend this place to those that like a fun and friendly atmosphere. It's unfortunate that the owners are closing at the end of the season.
Great food. Great Sangria and beer. Service was friendly and efficient. What more could you want ?
Food was excellent. Could use updating, to make it seem cleaner and more presentable. Food was good.
Great little Chilean restaurant all day happy hour! The Santiago nachos were awesome and the red sangria may be the best sangria I’ve ever had. Will be returning.
This establishment is closing in the fall. I am going to miss it. The owners are retiring. Great location. Friendly fast service and reasonable prices. Oh and great Nachos and Margueritas. If you have a chance to check it out this summer you should. It is worth it.
Good food and drinks. The hot sauce is incredibly good. I wish they sold it by the bottle.
Very cute, colourful place across the road from Victoria harbour! Great food and customer service! We’ll be back😊
A hidden gem in James Bay discovered while staying at the Huntingdon Hotel. Simple menu but everything was savouy, fresh and delicious! Service was genuine and kind!
We really enjoy the enchiladas and the chilli but specially, the home made hot sauce .
Our server was a sweet and amazing lady in a colorful and cozy enviroment
This is not authentic. Pretty disappointing, waitress barely knew what horchata was (they don’t serve it). I’m not Hispanic, but if you’ve never had Mexican cuisine maybe you’d like it (it’s very bland with no flavor). The only thing good which felt authentic was the home made hot sauce - it was delicious. But otherwise, this place is definitely catering to people who have never eaten Mexican or Latin American cuisine.

The owner couple are very lovely and kind. Food and drinks are amazing, with the perfect view and decorations.
We used to visit this restaurant years ago when it had Spanish style tapas. So when a few of us were downtown for a course we decided to stop by for lunch. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. Have other reviewers not tried other restaurants here in Victoria or never eaten Mexican food? This is the most basic of Mexican food…my “polenta” dish was mostly rice and beans and not even good rice and beans at that…Overpriced for the horrible quality….
What can I say but go here!!
I've worked across from this refreshingly authentic restaurant for more than 20 years and every time I go, the food is out of this world!
I went yesterday after a very long time and the food was even better than before!
The burrito I ordered was huge and came with guacamole, salsa and sour cream. Plus a little container of what I think is chipotle salsa that is so good I want to have a full jar of it immediately!
Highly recommend visiting this gem of a cafe.

Just had an amazing lunch. We had a beef burrito and a beef quesadilla. Portions were huge and absolutely delicious. Sangria was perfect accompaniment. Highly recommend.
