Serious Coffee Millstream Village

I still like Serious Coffee, but unfortunately, my experience yesterday was not one I want to remember. I got a latte with cinnamon syrup, and it tasted good. Once it cooled down.

My first sip burned my tongue so bad, I had swollen taste buds. It hurt for hours, and still does, at this moment. It’s not as bad as it was, but it still bothers me.

I’m not writing this to complain, but more for awareness. I will come back, don’t get me wrong, but I lattes are not supposed to be so hot to the point of a swollen tongue. It was abnormal.

I enjoyed myself experience here, I had nothing to do while my brother ran errands. I sat enjoy a Cherry Danish and asked for a extra chocolatey moka. It was nice to pass the time here, it was chill, people around but everyone seemed to working on their own thing. It was nice.

Cofee very average if not below average. Ordered two coffees one of them didnt have any sugar added although I asked for it. Inside was very cheap design, wasnt a pleasant feeling being there. Even Timmy's is much better. Overall very average, just go to Timmy's it's cheaper and better.

First, they called that a Latte was up. But a couple minutes later, called over to me that it was actually my Mocha. Then, she forgot my sausage roll in the microwave and only remembered when I got up and asked about 10 minutes later.

But, she and the other employee were very friendly and welcoming.

The Mocha was served in a huge mug since I was eating in. It was really good.

Great location. Love the layout, very relaxing. Also love the extended Friday hours. Staff always very friendly. Great place!

We were told their cash register was being re-programmed and hence could not sell us gift certificates. I don't buy that excuse as they sold us coffee and food fine. Lazy? Too busy? Didn't want to? I don't know, but there's about $150 spent somewhere else...

Egg nog latte was good, but could have been less sweet and hotter. My friend said her Matcha was one of the best but she was asked about how much sweetener she wanted added to her Matcha but I was not asked (I think I needed more coffee to realize that I could have asked for less sweetener😅). Good customer service and friendly too!

Very pleasant neighbourhood cafe to sit and do quiet work for a bit on a weekday morning. I was surprised by the size of the large flat white - it's Seriously large. It tastes more like a strong latte than a flat white which is fine by me. It's a decent tasting cup.

Great fresh made coffee. Good breakfast sandwich. Enjoyed an outside table that was pet friendly seating

The folks who work at this cafe are nothing short of entirely incredible. Even when it is, and I cannot stress this enough, insanely busy they still take the time to provide great customer service and work their hardest to keep drinks moving. The staff on shift during the afternoon of Saturday, October 5th were clearly dealing with quite a bit of a rush and I still had a great experience :)
Major kudos, from one customer service employee to two others. If you're looking for a nice place to have a quick drink and listen to some live music, I always recommend Serious on Millstream. Drinks are a bit pricey, but the quality is worth it imo.

What a lovely coffee shop. The coffee is delicious and the atmosphere is comfy with a live acoustic guitarist playing serenely in the background. I also loved seeing that this is a Veteran Owned business. Thank you for your service.
