I think I might have posted a review in the past as well but this place deserves more ♥️. Thank you so much for bringing such amazing Indian taste to Victoria. Relocated to Victoria a couple of years ago and have been searching for a place that makes good Indian food - today I found it! Our food from Shashwat was very good and we will be sure to return. Only one problem, our takeaway order was missing the naan bread ordered (and paid for). We will double check the bag contents before leaving next time.

My wife and I read the great reviews and decided to give Shashwat a try. They have a huge menu and lots of options for all tastes and diets.

The owner was extremely helpful to help me decide what would fit my tastes and diet. I tried the veggie masala. Wow! Great a flavor and portion. I liked it so much a came back two days later. I found my new lunch spot. Service was also very prompt and courteous.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this Restaurant, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of excellent! The food is super amazing in both taste and quality, truly capturing the essence of authentic Indian cuisine. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, always proactive in addressing customer needs, which made the visit even more enjoyable. I absolutely loved the atmosphere as well; it felt warm and inviting. While most of the menu options are great, I highly recommend trying the Lababdar curry and the chana bhature – they were standout dishes that really elevated the meal. Overall, Shashwat Restaurant is a gem, and I can't wait to return!

Delicious food. Family run business, their curries are mouth watering and their Chai tea is probably one of the best we’ve ever had from an Indian restaurant. A must go place for Indian food if you are visiting or living in Victoria!

Really good food and even greater customer service. Everything we ordered tasted so good. Spices were at perfect levels. People working there are so welcoming. They had some issues in the back of kitchen due to some plaza problem but they apologized a few times about it and also gave us complimentary gulab jamuns. Would definitely come back and highly recommend it to everyone living in Victoria or visiting the city.

I order my food through skip firstly they are not accepting my order second once they accept they dont have food and i told them to cancel my order and they dont know how to cancel the order and i called them 5 to 10 times no one was picking up the call like whts going on if you guys dont want to serve closed the store
