We had the December meal special and it was amazing, the food was excellent and there was a huge amount for a great price. Our server was very kind and professional, and staff were constantly filling our water and making sure we had everything we wanted. The atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely, and the music was calming and not too loud.

Fantastic. I thought they had a new chef, but same fella. Really impressed they up’d their game. Last time it was tired and I almost didn’t wanna go again, but I was really craving sushi and sake and thought OK. I can figure it out, but the food was amazing. They clearly have spent their time upping their game and improving each and every dish I think the Saba fish would be smarter to take the recipe from Nobu in New York, which is simply sake, miso, and Mirin and marinate for two days and then grill but everything else I had was I thought really top-notch and really improved from last time. The chicken Karaage was crisp with sesame seeds. The sashimi was thick cut but small pieces whereas last time it was just very thin and tired. I hope they keep it up because they could become a premier restaurant here in Victoria. They certainly deserve it and the service was excellent.

The wait for the food to arrive was very long. I couldn't enjoy the 2 hours of all-you-can-eat food. Terrible service. I do not recommend it.

I went with my boyfriend for the All You Can Eat menu just before 7:30 PM, knowing the restaurant closed at 9:30 PM and that we should have two full hours to enjoy the service. The restaurant wasn’t even busy — a few tables were occupied, and most already had their food.
It took around 20 minutes for someone to take our order, and that only happened because we had to tell the staff we had been waiting for a long time. We placed a large order since it was getting late and we knew we wouldn’t have time for a second round. After that, we were basically ignored. Every server walked past our table without checking on us.
More than 30 minutes later, we started calling servers and even the host, and they finally brought us a very small bowl of edamame. After that, all we kept hearing was “almost ready, almost ready,” but nothing ever came. We waited a total of an hour and a half, and by the time it was 9 PM, the only thing we had received was that tiny bowl of edamame.
We were tired of waiting and decided to just pay for the edamame and leave. The staff immediately said, “Yes, you can go,” without a second thought. What surprised us even more was that no manager ever came over or showed any interest in offering an explanation for the situation.
Meanwhile, every other table was getting water, food, bills — they were being taken care of properly. I don’t know if this was a case of racism or discrimination, but it certainly felt that way. Whatever the reason, the service we received was completely unacceptable, and I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone — it was the worst treatment I’ve ever experienced

I've just moved from Ontario to here in British Columbia and I'm a huge sushi fan so i was excited to give this spot a try and leave a good honest review but when my partner and I went to go give it a try tonight we had a terrible experience, first the chicken we ordered to our table came out raw and we had to send it back and when we got it back it wasn't until after our meal, and also i didn't expect this one but I was eating a salmon nigiri and I had a prick in my mouth causing my gum and lip to bleed so my appetite was ruined after that and so was my mood. While we were eating the last of our food we both started to not feel so good I'm just upset that i paid so much for bad quality food and a terrible experience I'm writing this as we've been home for a few hours and we're still not feeling well. I would like to give them another chance because maybe it was just a bad time for them. Also I was upset that the ginger on our plates was dried out.

We were a party of 8. The restaurant was not to busy when we arrived at 630. It took 2 hours before the food started to come. It was extremely frustrating seeing other clients that came after you and got their food first

Went out for dinner, party of 8, arrival 6:30 on Saturday night. Ordered miso soup and a few drinks about 20 min after sitting. Didn’t get any miso or food for about 2 hours. Excruciating wait time for sub par rolls and service. Choose a different restaurant.
I Ubered steak an lobster tail. Had to call cause I forgot to let them know rare cooked. Paid for a rush, but the tail was show with over cooked mix lobster meat, did not cover craving. Steak was perfect tho an so was the person I talked to. Don't order seafood.

The lunch bento stated, 6 pieces assorted sushi no mention of what, it was all raw fish which I understand is traditional but not my favorite at all. Portions were small, nothing under my teriyaki steak but onions and a strange sauce on my rice… it was clean and friendly but pretty disappointing overall.

the food is not something special and the bill, if you do all you can eat, is really too expensive and only for the service charge they keep 15.00% and for the level of this restaurant is not adequate.
only to understand better about the service last time that i come in this place they didn’t know how many people pay the bill and it was a caos.
i am not recommended you to come here.

I like their sushi & sashimi very much. Good service, good food quality. Very spacious inside.
The service was really poor even though there were only three tables of customers in the whole restaurant. The staff seemed inattentive and not friendly. The food was just average, definitely not worth the price. Wouldn’t recommend or come back again.

Ordered from here through an app. The food was not good. The teriyaki beef sauce seemed to have flour in it to thicken it. The rolls smelled off. The gyoza weren’t cooked great.

Came in for all you can eat sushi and it was a good meal. I wouldn't say the sashimi or Nigiri cuts were great quality. The yellowfin was very firm and not my favorite texture when it comes to sashimi cuts. The Salmon was a bit better for texture, but its all you can eat, so the quality isn't going to be the focus.
The rest of the menu was good. Had 4 different rolls, which were all huge. I found their rolls very large and if youre wanting just a ton of sushi then the value is there. The nice thing about this all you can eat is you can get sushi Pizzas, and yakisoba, Soba, udon, sunomono salads, sticks if chicken, all the tempura you could eat and more.
The spare ribs were a very tricky eat, and im not sure id ever get them again, however for 50$ id say if youre hungry with your boys then go to down and indulge.
Staff are great. All of them were attentive and kind, and we had a good laugh so id say great service.
