Tried it out for the first time yesterday, and it has rocketed into my top recommendations for Victoria. Nice, unpretentious vibe. Definitely laid-back and hipster, not fine dining. Would be a great place to meet with friends for drinks and happy hour. The food is absolutely spectacular. One of the best selections of oysters I’ve had in a restaurant (including places like Araxi) and reasonably priced (I will definitely come back for their two dollar happy hour oyster shucks.) The absolute star was the Wu-Tang clams. My wife loved the lobster roll as well.Cocktails were well thought out options that pair well with their dishes, but I think I would stick with their reasonably priced wine and beer list.Almost everything on the menu is seafood. If you bring someone who doesn’t eat it or is allergic there is a salad and a cheeseburger as options for them but that’s it.

Shuck Taylor's has quickly become my favorite after work spot to hang out. The atmosphere is great and the service is wonderful. Not to mention the prosecco is always on point. BUT the food is probably the BEST seafood I've had the pleasure of trying in Victoria. Their lobster roll (either version) is my most frequented menu item with oysters a close second. But everything on their menu is a true masterpiece. Their clam dip is unique and packs a punch of flavor. mussels are cooked perfectly and the prawns are beyond fresh. Whether I've are swung by for a quick drink and some oysters or are showed up with a group to indulge in one of the seafood boils I have never been disappointed!

Food; incredible. Staff; incredibly good looking. Atmosphere; nautical! Cozy but not crowded. Cool but not pretentious. Have a drink, have a snack, have a lobster roll, have 30 oysters to yourself. Just go there, you wont regret it.

Great little restaurant done in a seafood diner style. Staff are friendly and courteous. Oysters are fresh and plentiful and sourced from all over. I would have given 5 Stars but just wish it was a bigger place with more comfortable seating but those are just nit picky items.
Brian and Rog, two great guys who let me talk their ear off. It's expensive but worth it for the atmosphere and fresh shellfish. I'm just a tourist but I'd recommend this without hesitation. Brian was knowledgeable about the Oysters and made some bomb recommendations! Rog was great, very personable and knowledgeable! Just go here already!

Everything was very good. The only negative was the wait. The restaurant was nearly empty at lunch time but it took soooooolong to get our food.

So fun inside with lots of people, high and low tables, and a great bar.We had the clam dip, lobster roll and an amazing pour-out-on-your-table seafood extravaganza.Seafood is expensive. So, yes, the bill was big. But honestly, everything was so tasty.
