Took our mother out for her birthday and decided to pop in for lunch, service was absolutely wonderful with Pam being wonderful not just to us but every guest I saw her with during our time there. Had the fish and chips and I'd argue it was the best I've ever had and well worth the price. Also, almost everything on the menu from my understanding is gluten free and as fair-trade as you can get which is a nice thing to see nowadays and a definite plus for people with dietary restrictions.
All in all, with the historic significance the 6 Mile has with a great staff and even better food I'd highly recommend going here if you find yourself in the neighborhood.

I absolutely love this place, my friends and I just loved to the island for school and this was the closest pub to our new place it has an amazingly cozy atmosphere, the servers here are so friendly (shoutout to Pamela for an amazing experience as always) and the food is delicious. Really good pub food. Difficult to choose because everything looks delicious. Not your basic bangers and mash Guinness stew lazy pub grub. Serious food made by talented staff. Not unreasonably priced either. And the Caesars were delicious!

Went in and sat at the bar last night, great atmosphere and food was delicious. The real star of the night however was our bartender/server. Sierra was super quick with refills and gave excellent drink recommendations. She was a pleasure to talk to and kept us laughing all night. Highly recommend!

Wonderful little pub for a drink however food portions are small had I would not recommend the Shepard's pie. It was nothing like the description on the menu, it was over salted ground beef with frozen vegetables and topped with instant potatoes.
