We have been coming here since the day it opened, and the bingsoo itself has always been decent. However, the service has been weird and declining lately; the owner lady used to be quite lovely. From previous replies of the staff here it seems like she had been feeling unwell, and I sincerely feel bad for her for that. However, I think it’s only reasonable to either hire extra help or flat out stop the entire dine-in option.

Like previous reviews mentioned, we (a group of 3) were denied a seat when there were clearly tables available. Of course, this meant we had to order only the larger size, and choose from only a few flavour options. While we waited for our order, my child tried to get herself some water from the water dispenser there (correctly) and was almost “scolded” to have a parent help her because “the drink dispenser worked wonky and could easily spill water everywhere.” I found that quite weird - stopping a child in their track when they are doing something completely correctly, using something from your own store that you claim does not work. Isn’t it easier to just replace that? Besides FWIW the dispenser worked just fine.

Again, I could tell how hard the lady works, being the only person running the store. She has my respect and empathy there. However, customer service and experience has been compromised and it should either be reflected in the price or improved with additional staff.

Seating capacity is very limited and that’s never discouraged me. I’m the kind of person that would order and eat it outside standing haha. It's a very busy place and items can run out very fast. Luckily they had the mango bingsoo and the taiyaki.
The dessert is very refreshing and delicious, not overly sweet. The taiyaki is yummy. Overall it's a great experience and I would love to try other items on the menu. Prices are a bit steep but judging the demographics of this area, people are willing to spend if it's good. If I’m in Victoria again I’ll definitely come back.

I don’t take my boys for ice cream any more… we go for Bingsoo. It’s basically what you get when shave ice meets an ice cream sundae… but healthier and better looking. Snowy Village is an absolute hidden gem.

Amazing quality of the bingsoo, very fine and taste so delicious!!!

Amazing customer service! She was so sweet and helpful. We got watermelon bingsoo and Nutella taiyaki. It was amazing! The watermelon was delicious and refreshing. Definitely recommend checking out, very calm atmosphere. 10/10.

Oreo bingsoo was great. Think the lady was running out of blueberry drizzle for the blueberry bingsoo, but still tasted good. She was operating the whole establishment by herself. Very much appreciated the effort. Had a hilarious chat about us both being from Alberta.

Prices very affordable: I swear cheaper than the Richmond location. Only around $12. The ginger herbal tea was great for my stuffy nose during the rain.

Would definitely comeback and recommend. Location had a minimalist vibe. Owner puts a lot of effort into.

The woman working in the store is so kind. My group and I showed up 30 mins before closing and we were too late to order a brown sugar pearl bingsoo. She gave us a free sample container of the pearls with our strawberry yogurt bingsoo (delicious by the way).

Just went to snowy village for the first time and it was incredible! The owner and her daughter are both so sweet and kind! My friend and I ordered the mango bingsoo and it was 10/10! The fresh mango was so delicious. We will definitely be back!
