i enjoy coming here for the location, interior and food. the only thing that makes it hard to come back is the customer service. the employees aren’t very friendly and make it seem like they’re better than you. it makes for an uncomfortable visit.

The Chefs from Sol catered an 120 person event for us at the last minute- we were so grateful that they were up for it, even with only a week’s notice! The food was fab, and very reasonable prices as we are a non-profit organization. The Chefs provided a lot of diversity for different appetites and dietary restrictions. Chef Michael is a pleasure to work with, very professional and accommodating, going the extra mile to help make the event run smoothly. The guests were very impressed with the soup, especially the squash! Thank you for catering for us, we will be reaching out for catering again for sure!

Sol Food is a delight to visit, and I recommend to anyone looking for a "homestyle" meal at a reasonable price. The staff are all very friendly and attentive. The food is delicious, and you can taste the love it is made with. 10/10 on all aspects.

The sandwiches are really bland. Had the roast beef and it tasted like nothing at was wet. If the added cheese, mustard, and onions I bet It would be great. Was my first time in and all of the baked goods looked so amazing so I was let down when the sandwich was so sad.

This place makes the BEST coconut oatmeal cookies! They are the perfect combo of crispness and chewiness, with a delightful buttery coconut flavour. The savory food is amazing too, I had a stellar kale & quinoa salad there, as well as carrot ginger soup with a fluffy biscuit. But seriously....do yourself a favour and go get a cookie...or two....!
