Soupa Cafe - St. Andrew's Square

This was a great lunch spot offering 3 vegan soups (African peanut, red lentil, and creamy mushroom), a veggie chilli, which I think was also vegan, and various sandwiches, bowls, and sweet treats, including a delicious vegan brownie. Staff were friendly, the food was fresh, and service was fast. I had the lentil soup, it was a little bit bland, but still tasty - just needed some more seasoning.

15 dollars for a small watery bowl of mushroom souped? Never again

Paid 16 dollars (as I gave 2 dollar tip) for some good tasting chicken soup. I was disappointed to see there were only like 3 tiny pieces of chicken in the soup. Also for folks who don’t want bread, maybe provide a gluten free option or reduce the overall price of the meal. The servers were very kind and the soup tasted good but for the price point not so much!

Ok…. Food is just delicious!!! Why did I give it 3 stars? Welllllllll…….. I sat down at the table eating my delicious lunch, observing the most horrific food handling ! The ladies REALLY need to review their food handling rules. Nobody EVER washed their hands?One was constantly blowing her nose in paper towel or wiping it with her hands….. NEVER washed……. Then busy packing up cookies or sandwiches in bags or on plates…… fishing out soup….actually picked up tongs at the wrong end…. So they were contaminated as well!They were busy on their cell phones while they waited for customers….. no hand washing at all…. It was sadly sooooo disgusting. I’m sure the entire place was contaminated……Maybe an inservice is needed…. Really ladies! This is cold n flu season!!!Regardless!! Mishandling food can have extremely dire consequences!!!!Wash your hands! Stay off your phones!!! Keep the area clean and sanitized!I just could not believe my eyes??????

Delicious chicken & bacon soup and great service!

Can't elaborate on service because we skipped the dishes to our hotel room after a day surgery at RJH. The food we ordered was packaged well, and absolutely delicious. Next opportunity we have we will attempt to dine in, but if we can't this will definitely be on our list of order again. Had the quesadilla, a turkey bacon sandwich, a couple iced coffees (only critique would be no request option for sugar on the iced coffee menu but we had some in the room so not a huge deal) and we also got the loaded big salad. It was all very fresh and super tasty.
