Third time here in about a year and every time the food and wine and beer are excellent, the service is super-friendly and efficient, and the views are gorgeous. They always make sure we can have our favourite wheel-chair accessible table with lots of light and windows overlooking the ocean. Love it 😍

Nice location, friendly staff, decent beer, but food was disappointing.

The gluten-free mussels was just the regular mussels without the bread (no GF bread or alternative carb was offered). The cod and fries featured an embarrassingly small fillet of fish (it could have been on the kids menu) and it was poorly cooked (soggy batter).

This is a shame because we've been here a number of times and have generally found it to be pretty good. It feels like they are trying to keep prices stable while cutting portion sizes.

This is a review of the restaurant and not the hotel. Great drinks, great food, and great service. We really love the atmosphere and the amazing food at this place. The menu has some gluten-free options, but not a lot. The view and scenery is also amazing. I also advise visiting their gift shop on the way out.

Went there today for Breakfast. Parking lot was fairly empty so we were excited it wouldn't be that busy. Got in and sat immediately, took 15 min for the waiter to come and take our order, Another 10 min to get our drinks, then we waited 40 min and still didn't receive our food, I went to go talk to the waiter and he advised it would be up soon, at this point, I just told him to give me the receipt for the drinks as we were very disassitfied. 5min later the manager came over and said our food will be up soon, I said it's already too late, she told us she would comp the food, at this point our frustration level was so high, she said at least take it with us, and I said no, id like to pay for the drink. She advised she would comp that, we left. Not a very good start to my Birthday. Very disappointed at Spinnakers.

Their pesto, and their bacon; are the gospel.

Showed up on a Thursday night after a long walk with the doggo, looking forward to a beer and a rest. I was told the 'dog patio' closes at eight. Lame. Sent home beerless.

Good views. Good food. Good service.

Just an average brewery, food was just ok. Fish and chips were good. Older place, service was a little slow, it looks like a popular place as it seems like a busy and popular place

Terrible service, flatbreads & drinks were just okay, overall our least favorite meal in Victoria (by far). Wish we would have gone somewhere else for pizza.
Ordered our food from a very nice server but she never came back to our table once. Someone else dropped our food and we had to flag down another server to order more drinks. Original server had 3 other tables in our section, continued to help them, but completely avoided us for whatever reason. (Outside upper deck evening of 8/26).

Basically the food is really good, beers are good as long as you choose right. Most of the people complaining are people who are probably on their death bed. I walked in here and saw a sea of grey hair it explains the complaints on the review about service. Their spicy aioli very good. Food isn’t perfect tho they could toast their buns for burgers so you aren’t chewing as much but besides that pretty good

My favorite pilsner from the island is from here and love that they can be bought in the offsale too. The food is good too but found the halibut fish and a bit too greasy.

8 of us for a Birthday celebration. We are all locals & have enjoyed the restaurant in the past. Wasn't very busy, now I know why. 5 of us ordered fish & chips. All of our fries were lukewarm, we told the server. Had to chase down our server for salt, vinegar. Food was average, service lacking...we had to clear our own table to open gifts. Had to ask at front desk to get our bills...finally got them and they were wrong. Other people at front desk saying they were disappointed too. Staff needs more training (including the chef).

I was served by Dave who was extremely attentive and kind! As I was sat at the bar I was privy to how busy it was for him bjt he never faltered.

Thanks Dave and co for a delicious meal and tasty treats

The establishment has a lovely view & charm. Hadn’t been in quite a few years and decided last minute to pop in for dinner with friends. I was SO disappointed with the food - genuinely shocked at the quality and selection of the menu. I was actually so annoyed I had to pay for the food lol, as a previous server I could not bother to complain but I will not be dining in again. Felt like the most basic frozen pub food I’ve ever had. For the price I would check out any other local pub near by. So strange as their food used to be authentic flavourful and unique. On the positive the service was decent and they were accommodating on a busy weekend night.

Usually much better but latest meal service was very bad. Busy night yes but after the appetizer we waited almost an hour for our food. When I finally caught the waiter our food then arrived promptly and coldish. It clearly had been sitting. Waiter offered feeble excuse… they were busy with a group. Guess that group was everyone sitting around us. He didn’t even check on us or our drinks until I finally sought him out. We were trying to celebrate a family event. Very disappointed.
