What a hidden gem 🥰 It is so cozy and its the first place Ive had actually delicious matcha at. The coffee was also superb and they have a great array of syrups. Theres a good amount of tables and plug in areas with a really nice community hotspot atmosphere. Unfortunately there is no wifi but data connects well! Music (like the aux, not live music) could be quieter but other then that an excellent place.

Spiral Café is a true gem in Victoria! As a locally owned coffee shop with long-time ownership, it has been a cornerstone of the community for years. Their commitment to great coffee, live music, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a special place.
I've been a customer for over 20 years, and in my opinion, they serve some of the best coffee in Victoria. The rich, flavorful brews are consistently excellent, and the cozy ambiance makes it the perfect spot to relax. I also love that they provide a venue for local musicians, hosting open mic nights and live performances that bring people together.
If you're looking for a warm, friendly café with amazing coffee and a vibrant community spirit, Spiral Café is the place to be! Highly recommend!
Ordered a chai latte with oat milk and was very disappointed with the product. No foam on the drink, just large bubbles, and the chai itself somehow tasted both syrupy sweet as well as flavourless and watery. I had two sips and couldn’t finish the rest.
They also don’t use a proper barista blend oat milk, just a regular Silk-brand oat milk. Not sure if this is due to lack of expertise or penny-pinching.
Drinks aside, the ambiance could be considered charming and rustic to some.
Service was fine. Nothing noteworthy, good or bad.
