Pretty decent Starbucks lays in the ashes of what was Finnerty Express. Basically the exact same floor plan except they took out half the tables, removed the microwaves, and replaced the chairs with less comfortable ones. Still a nice study place. Lines here are always longer than Disneyland, so don't come if you're in a rush, but the baristas are absolutely wonderful. KEEP IT CLASSY, UVIC

Traditionally good Starbucks coffee never disappoints. I went to study with a friend, good atmosphere, definitely a nice study environment. Great customer service! :)

I don't know why it is but every time I come to this Starbucks (Cadboro Bay) I have a problem. I love Starbucks! I am a frequent patron but this one is starting to cause me to go elsewhere. I have only been in this Starbucks a handful of times because I live on the peninsula and I don't come to Cadboro Bay much but their track record isn't very good for me. One time I was in near the end of the day and I only had a $50 bill. Well the manager wasn't going to take it He made a big deal about it but it was all I had. So he "did me a favor just this once" and accepted it. Really? Starbucks can't make change for a 50 at the end of a busy day? They've got more money then God! Another time I brought an elderly client in for tea. She just wanted regular black tea. But we got some type of fruity tea that they said we ordered. I think it was the customer ahead of us but anyway my client didn't want to be a problem because the barista seemed to be having a bad day and didn't want to change it so we just took it. Then today I ordered an iced mocha. She never asked if I wanted whipped cream. Every other single Starbucks I've ever been in asks me! So I didn't say because I assumed it wouldn't be on there since she didn't ask. Well it was. I just took it but I said I didn't want whipped cream and the older woman working there ( manager?) said oh they aren't supposed to ask. Really? How unhelpful and unaccommadating ! Honestly I keep hoping I'll have a good experience at this Starbucks because the other ones are always excellent, like the Sidney one. But so far no luck. I think Cadboro Bay Starbucks needs to do some fine tuning.

This location is by far the best Starbucks I have every been to. The staff are all extremely friendly, patient, and highly efficient! The lines can get very long but they just zip through orders! I would go out of my way just to go to this location
