Love this Starbucks and the atmosphere here is great. The Barista's are nice at this location but the Barista's at the Government St Starbucks are the best. I would recommend trying out this location if you like reading while you enjoy your tea or coffee as this location is a bit more quite than some of the other ones.

After one year, they increase the minimal preset tips to 20 and 22!
Totally ridiculous — The card machine preset a 18% and 20% tips button. I don’t mind to pay 10% for the “basic service” though i don’t think they really deserve that tips. But 18% ? It is just greedy.
I find myself hard to describe their attitude as polite, though they are not rude. What a starbucks experience here. I won’t come if i am not an hotel guest.

Once again Starbucks never disappoints and continues to have excellent Team Members. I decided to drop in for a drink yesterday afternoon at the SB by the Hilton Hotel in downtown Victoria BC (Friday 18th July 2025, around 3:30pm).
I was helped by an exceptional barista, Geneva I believe, who delivered excellent customer service and really has an amazing way of treating customers. A truly memorable visit and hope that this Team Member gets recognized for such outstanding service.

I like this Starbucks location. It can get too busy on some days since they're connected with the hotel. I just wish Starbucks have separate WiFi connection though because connecting to a WiFi in this location is a bit of a hassle, it has to go through the hotel and if you don't have a hotel room number you can't connect to it.

He has the most beautiful smile in the world, and his energy was simply radiant. The way he spoke, his body language, and overall demeanor were so genuine and welcoming—it made us feel instantly at ease.
Aldy didn’t just serve coffee; he created an experience. It’s rare to come across someone who brings that kind of warmth and positivity to their work, and I just wanted to say thank you.

While I am not usually one to do reviews for the corporate machine (and there are so many amazing independent coffee shops in Victoria) I have to do one for this place. The view! It feels like you are in a treehouse. This Starbucks location is 2nd only to the Starbucks views on English Bay in Vancouver imo. This was a nice place to chill and watch the hustle and bustle.

Had a lovely breakfast here. Fresh orange juice, egg bites, and a ham and cheese croissant. Very calm in here, nice ambience. Friendly staff too.
