Took relatives visiting Vancouver from Asia to Victoria for a day trip. While trip planning, decided to include one of our favourite poke places to our itinerary. Came here and Shea was so friendly, helpful and patient while I explained and translated the menu to my relatives. Unfortunately, the taste was just not what we are used to from Steve’s. The poke itself was pretty bland from lack of sauce as well as flavour. Very disappointed as it was their first time trying Hawaiian Style Poke.

Ordered the pickup via Uber Eats, when my husband showed up at the estimated time, they told him they were out of rice. Waited there for 20 minutes, when we got home we realized that we ended up with two bowls of very undercooked rice. Very disappointing

Typically, I’m not a huge fan of poke because I’m allergic to 10+ types of seafood and meat, but Owen was truly amazing and guided me through my dietary needs! Delicious food and wonderful service. Definitely a must visit!!

I was having a bad day because my cat died, but I stopped by Steve’s poke bar and Owen’s service and poke suggestions were so good it cheered me up! Now I come back frequently and think about my cat 🤍
This is definitely one of the busier locations, but the staff here are capable and kind enough to keep things moving with a smile.
I often visit for work trips and enjoy stopping here for quick, easy, and fresh meals. Nothing else tastes as good as anything from good ol’ Steve’s.
There are some folks down below who clearly didn’t enjoy the items they ordered and chose violence in the reviews over quiet disappointment… especially some who aren’t convinced that the seafood used here is fresh enough for “their” standards… Let’s just say I don’t see them handing out Michelin stars anytime soon 😅

Rotten fish ordered from here. The salmon was warm and seemed partially cooked. Reeked threw it in the garbage. Fish needs to be freeh.

The poke here is very delicious!! I love their summer lychee tea too and it’s a great dinner or late night food for when you’re still hungry. The service is also very good when I went a young guy names Owen helped me and he was very nice and had no problem with my requests and changes they also let you try samples which I thought was a nice detail

Since I moved from hawaii i’ve been yearning to find a place with the same quality poke. No place felt the same, until I found Steve’s poke bar. The fish is amazing, tons of flavors, and the staff are super caring and nice. Owen made sure that I had the best experience and was very helpful with flavors and recommendations. 5 stars !
