This subway location is fantastic the inside environment is super clean but the two most important things 1 the food is super tasty i think it’s the best subway in town and 2nd the staff here are so amazing I’ve been here many time and every time I get 5 star respect and I love giving that respect right back to others

I’ve been to quite a few Subways around the South Island, but this one truly stands out. The service here is always warm and genuine, and the food is consistently fresh and tasty.
The manager, Min, is the reason this place feels different. She greets every customer with a bright smile and a cheerful “hello” the moment you walk in. Even when she’s serving someone else, she’ll always take a second to say, “I’ll be right with you.” It’s such a small thing, but it makes you feel noticed and appreciated — something that’s pretty rare these days.
What really impresses me is how dedicated she is. She’s there early in the morning opening the store, prepping fresh ingredients, and baking cookies. You can honestly taste the freshness in every bite. Even as the manager, she leads by example and works hard alongside her team.
Everything here — from the sandwiches to the cookies, soups, and coffee — tastes great. But what really makes this Subway special is the friendly atmosphere and the people who genuinely care about their customers.
If you ever find yourself near Goldstream, you’ve got to stop by this Subway. It’s one of those places that reminds you what good service and genuine hospitality feel like.

I’m used to going to the one at westshore mall which sucks. This one is wonderful. Guys were amazing. Super fast, were super knowledgeable, huge line up and they got us though fast. I thought I was done with subway and then I found this location.

Today I visited the Subway located at 744 Goldstream Avenue in Langford for a pickup order. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. I had to wait approximately 10 to 15 minutes, which I found quite long for a pickup order. When I politely mentioned the delay, the staff member responded with clear anger and was very rude to me.
Instead of addressing my concern professionally, the employee raised their voice, acted aggressively, and even used inappropriate language. I tried to stay calm and apologized if they took my comment personally, but the response I received was completely unacceptable and unprofessional.
No customer should be treated with disrespect, especially when simply asking about a delay. This kind of behavior reflects very poorly on the Subway brand and makes me hesitant to return to this location.
I hope serious action is taken to address this issue and ensure better customer service in the future.

I come to this location because in the past it has been better than the Westshore mall option, but today the vegetables were boarder line frozen (thick ice on every single tub) and the bread was totally crumbly from being old. Very good service, but quality was poor. Well good service would have given fresh items when I pointed out how poor things were before she made the sandwich
