⭐☆☆☆☆ I’ve never experienced such unprofessional customer service in Langford before. I went to pick up a DoorDash order and politely asked the front staff about my pickup. Instead of a simple greeting or update, I was met with a rude tone and dismissive attitude.
After providing my order number, I was told it would take 5–7 minutes, so I waited outside. When I returned after around 15 minutes to check again, the same staff member responded with an unfriendly expression and said the order was still not ready.
A basic level of courtesy, respect, and communication is expected at any restaurant—especially one serving customers directly. This experience left a very negative impression, and I hope the management addresses the behavior of the staff to ensure customers feel welcomed, not disrespected.

We stopped here for dinner and everything was delicious. We had the edamame, prawn tempura, California roll, and seafood ramen—all of which I would highly recommend. The food came out incredibly fast, and the service was great. A fantastic spot if you're craving fresh, flavorful Japanese dishes.

The food there is fantastic. One of the best sushi I have tried. I tried Caterpillar R, Oahu Salmon and Special Sashimi. I noticed that the cooks and servers were Japanese, so the food was very authentic. I would recommend to everyone to go and try their food.

This is my go to sushi place in Langford. Was turned away at the door on Valentine’s Day, wasn’t any option to be put on a wait list, no option to order online. What a joke and a ruined night. I will NEVER COME BACK here, you have done a White Man Dirty and left me and my Asian girlfriend without sushi on this special night.
Service was great. Sushi and nigiri were good. Could of been better but I keep coming back here.

My go to sushi restaurant. I have dined in and dined out with sushi ya for as long as I have lived here and I have never had anything less than great sushi. I usually get the love platter to share with my wife and it’s enough food for two adults. The price is reasonable for what you get and when delivered the boxes usually have cute drawings on them which is a nice bonus. Highly recommend

Got their on evening open. Quickly sat and tended to by a very friendly staff. Menu is large with a lot of sushi/sashimi/nigiri options, some very unique.
Food came at a reasonable time and was very good. Miso soup and monkey brain was very good. Avacado was perfect.
I feel the price was about 10% higher than other local sushi establishments but perhaps the portion size was a little larger too. Hard to tell.
We really enjoyed our meal here and will be back again.
