We absolutely love this family-run restaurant! Whether dining in or getting takeout, the food is always fresh and delicious. Their shrimp fried rice and ginger beef are our regular meal orders. We also liked their eggplants and hot n’ sour soup. Our friends visiting from Vancouver were impressed as well! Every time we order, it feels great to support a local restaurant.

Real chinese, hard to find these anymore

Ordered out. Asked for Hot Sauce, got 2 sweet and sour soups and a sweet and sour dish we didn’t order.

Food was terrible.

Asked for utensils and did not get those.

When we called the restaurant they bushed us off.

We didn't realize that there is new ownership. The quality of food is lacking. Moo Shu vegetables have only four pancakes, S & S pork tasted like cucumber, very odd taste. We threw it out.The mandarin pork was half fat that was barely cooked down. We called to complain and they would not do anything for us. They chintzed out on the quality of food. We have been going to Szechuan for many years. This will be our last time.

We decided to try this place since we wanted authentic Chinese food. We ordered the 2-person dinner but subbed out the sweet and sour chicken for mapo tofu. It came with wonton soup or hot and sour soup. We ordered hot and sour but got wonton soup by mistake. They corrected the order but gave us the wonton soup on the house. Both soups were delicious.

The beef dish was delicious. The mapo tofu was very good as well. We had so much food left over that we took the food home and made fried rice with our leftovers.

Amazing food and great service. We were very pleased with this restaurant. It was very quiet there, though. I suspect most of their business is take out. The parking situation is either a paid parking lot or the small amount of space on the other side of the restaurant. That might be why it appears to be mostly take out, but it is definitely worth the trip for this amazing authentic Chinese restaurant.

Please invest in transportable containers for delivery services. Even after a calm, short ride it costs us time, money, and materials to clean up after the flimsy lids slightly shift and spill all over the inside of our bags. It also looks bad to the customer and we end up taking the blame.

The restaurant offers authentic Chinese food that we have been craving for. We’ve tried over 15 items from the menu and each one was delicious & flavourful. Highly recommend!

Never will go there again, they should change to another waitress, the current one made my last visit to the restaurant an awful experience, she just didn’t want to provide any service at all. What is the matter with them?! Totally disappointed.
