Each time I visit, I am greeted by the calmest, kind man! They serve drumroaster coffee, so you know you're in for a good cup! ( any local coffee heads know drumroaster is the best on the island.)
The library section is super well curated. I always find a good read here!
Amazing matcha as well, and some vegan options are available.

I'm so thankful that I've found this peaceful little place. While I stopped in the first time to grab a tea while I was waiting between appointments in the building upstairs, I've now gone out of my way to stop in for one of their excellent sandwiches and chai lattes. One of the best kept secrets in downtown Victoria!

I got the tuna panini. The service was great, the food was delicious, the portion was huge. Really yummy and exactly what I was craving

Love the matcha latte here! I will go the distance to get it here, even if I am closer to another cafe. As this cafe prepares it perfectly, even if you ask for milk alternatives.

This is harder to do/get than it sounds!

Love that there is a big library in here and lots of windows too for natural light. Comfortable sitting room.

Simple shop, good service, great coffee

Good food, I ordered a hot chocolate and a brownie. Service was a bit lacking though.

This has become one of my favourite coffee shops in town. The coffee is excellent (Drumroaster!) and the food is also very good. Atmosphere is lovely and spacious, quiet enough to work or read if you want to. The owners are lovely and kind. Also…the absolute BEST public book shelf I have ever come across!

It's a cute little shop. The man working there was quite rude and unfriendly though. As soon as we walked in, he yelled at my 6 year old to not touch the dollhouse that was on display at the counter. Missed my partner's coffee for our order. Iced Chai latte was practically white from being ALL milk. We had an appointment upstairs with a pediatrician, so we thought we'd kill time in the coffee shop, but it wasn't a pleasant experience overall so we left after a couple minutes.

Amazing prices and simple delicious meals and baked goods. Few places can I find perfectly brewed unsweetened ice tea, this is the place. The gentleman who works there is incredibly kind and understand. It’s my favorite little spot to go, and I always grab an apple strudel.

When I was kid in Victoria there was a small diner that I’d frequent when I was old enough. It tasted like home, if you know what I mean. I love big fancy meals as much as everyone else but achieving that taste of home is hard to accomplish. This place has done it. The food is simple, good quality, good flavour, generous, and so far quick. The two people I’ve met running everything are always kind and quick to offer a smile.

Best gluten free sandwiches ever! Family run business that doesn’t skimp on fillings. I get my toasted sandwiches here and they have really nice tea as well, loose leaf good quality. I come here weekly and generally don’t eat out places often but the quality is so great that I come here after my physiotherapy upstairs and it’s the perfect boost.

The washroom is very clean and spacious, wheelchair or stroller friendly, and has a changing table.

We went on a nice quiet afternoon: the gentleman working was very patient with little kids choosing their snack. Chai latte was delirious as well as the Turkey sandwich. Would come back when in the area .
