I've been going there looking for an elementary school friend that is a regular there and I haven't seen him in 15 years. It's not really my scene, but there staff are very friendly and helpful, even the patrons are friendly and helpful. So I have no choice but to be impressed. They also have an extensive selection of beers which is a plus. It's chill in there, super chill.

Food was great service was inattentive a slow. We had a problem with a drink which the switched but after the tried to explain a bunch of stuff that really doesn’t matter as a customer. Just change it and move on. Kind but not the best service.

The huge beer and cider selection and the choice whiskeys are great for the drinking end of things. The Churchill is one of the few drinking establishments in town that have TVs not playing sports. A lot of artsy movies played in black and white. I've seen a few Studio Ghibli movies playing as well. Great for any size group. The aesthetics of the interior lend to great candid shots of friends and family.

We had drunk beers somewhere else earlier in the day so were only interested in food. Food was mediocre. I got the jackfruit sandwich (the only veg option) and my husband got the chicken sandwich. My guess is that you go here for the beer, not necessarily the food.

I’ve stopped in a few times with my husband when we are on long walks to get the beer and hotdog special that runs until 5pm. The service is always excellent, extensive beer selection with something for everyone. The hotdog is a good size and really delicious. Atmosphere is excellent and it’s usually not too crowded. Really nice pub experience.
