The Drake Eatery Reviews
Great place for locals and tourists alike - couples, families, friends, workmates, whatever, good food, good beers, and plenty more besides.
Along with a couple of flights of beer, we had the Kafka-esque hot dog and the Mustard Pickle Grilled cheese with pulled pork - excellent!

The Drake Eatery in Victoria is a popular spot for many, offering carefully prepared food by chef Chris, who creatively sources local ingredients. His panzenella salad is a must-try, featuring perfectly balanced flavors and sweet local tomatoes. The atmosphere is ideal for social gatherings, with a fantastic selection of craft beers that beer lovers must check out. The beers are well curated, and many are unique options not found in most pubs. The English bartender adds to the experience with good humor and friendly service, with customers praising the excellent service provided by staff like Dylan. The Kafka Esque sandwich is highlighted as one of the best meals, along with the veuve de coast IPA, and many visitors compare them favorably to meals in Seattle and Vancouver. The place is suitable for everyone—locals and tourists, couples, families, friends, and workmates—offering good food, good beers, and more. The Kafka-esque hot dog and Mustard Pickle Grilled cheese with pulled pork are highly recommended. Many appreciate the welcoming atmosphere, the variety of vegan options, and the wonderful staff. Despite some confusion with the restrooms, The Drake Eatery remains a hidden gem of affordable, genius food in Victoria, perfect for enjoying drinks and a lively ambiance.
