Definitely for a younger-type crowd but had fun. Live performance was good but could hardly figure out what song they were playing cause it was too loud, maybe needs to be tuned a bit better. Seems you have to clean up after yourself though? Was a bit puzzled by that part. Bar was super fast with drinks which was awesome. Had fun, just had the few things I found a bit down. Other than that, I’d definitely return.

The DUKE inappropriately kicked my friend out on my bachelorette. The bald bouncer with a beard told her to get out when she was sitting on a stool. She didn’t drink a sip from the DUKE and singled her out of the crowd to KICK HER OUT. So disappointed and annoyed with the staff at this agency.

This is actually the roofie capital of vancouver island. Women beware, 2 of my friends were drugged last night and apparently it’s a very common thing at this bar. Super scary to think this is a thing in 2025 still, don’t come here unless you want to get drugged.

Good spot for a younger crowd to enjoy some live music.
Went to see a band. Band was great, staff were great. Lack of choices for alcohol. Would like to see draft beer,wine and more choices for cocktails. Maybe a few snacks? Once 1030 hit felt way too old to be there. Very young crowd. Not that there is anything wrong with it, just felt the crowd and atmosphere changed.

The problem with the Duke, is the fact that they domt have a dance floor control, they can have great live music, but then people just stand on the dance floor and don't dance taking up the room from the people who are trying to dance. Great atmosphere, no country dancing, pretty much what you'd expect from Victoria...

Went to celebrate friends birthday last weekend, great service and vibe. The manager, Cammy, is absolutely on top of everything and is very kind. Our drinks were cold and the music was great! I think it would be great if this place had a country karaoke night aimed at 30+! Overall great vibes!
