I have orders here multiple times because of how convenient it is to campus. I’m going to be honest and say that the experience here isn’t as bad as the reviews state.Sometimes the wait times are bad, especially around lunch time. I studied at UVic for a year. Like most students, I need coffee, not just at the start of the day, but constantly. I'd spend a lot of time working in the SUB, needing pick-me-ups along the way. When I got my first coffee from Bean There, I was expecting it to be generic coffee. I was taken aback as to how good it was. I can honestly say it's the best coffee in all of Victoria. If you’re only ever gonna order wraps with fries or the noodles and rice, yeah it can be a bit lacklustre sometimes (still relatively good values compared to the outside).But if you mix and match the right things, you can have a balanced, filling meal for really cheap, probably the best you can find anywhere.
